Oakbrook Pointe Apartments

By far the worst place to ever live. The HOOD. I had issues with roaches and complained for the 6 months that I was there. I did a professional letter outlining my concerns and according to Georgia law, gave them 30 days to correct the problem, allow me out my lease, or I'll vacate in 30 more days. They offered me a transfer into another roach infested place and I declined. After paying 2 months rent to get out the lease, they decided to add on some addt'l fees after I'd left and only to find out when I attempted to get a place in a new city/state. Never mind the fact that I cleaned the place when I moved out as I've done in every place I've ever resided in. This place is just horrible, dirty, and very unprofessional. My parked car even got hit and no one even so much as even left a note. You get what you pay for. more

I have had nothing but problems with this apartment, the neighbors, the environment, and especially the office. They spend a lot of money making this place look nice to potential victims, but if you look closely, you will find it is just attempts at covering up how run down this place is. They invite themselves into your apartment for reasons of upkeep, but that's just because of the slobs you're living around can't possibly do it for themselves. Roaches, fleas, ants? You name it; the only thing we're missing is rats, but thanks go to all of the abandoned cats, growing fat on garbage, and whatnot. Also, you better keep track of your things, cars, and patio; they could be stripped at any moment. Oh yah, last but not least, don't expect them to be professional; for two weeks in a row after moving in they asked me for a dollar to cover their technical errors, made when computing my move in costs. And there's always a new rule popping up, another reason to make sure you're taking care of their apartments, even if it means throwing away your property while you still live there. I went out of my way to warn people to never sign a lease with this company, because you will be treated like the slum you will live in. more

Well do not be fooled by the first review.Yes, the rent is cheap , but you'll pay for the difference.No security gate in use,they have only a ""security guard"" that patrols on a golf cart two apartment complexes.I saw people robbed.You will see police almost every day there because of the crime.But they don't care too much because it's Norcross and they think you are a trash since you live in that apartment complex.Two fires this year,one in spring with one child dead in the fire.The buildings are pretty old and not updated just patched .And of course the management does not care as long as you pay the rent .There is only one swimming pool in use from those two,the tennis court is trashed and dirty.I do not recommend this apartment complex at all!!!!! They have the most amenities I've ever seen in Norcross....Everything from a resident center to indoor basketball...not to mention 2 pools, tennis courts, soccer court.....EVERYTHING! and the cheapest rent I've ever payed for a one bedroom. I went from paying $710 down the street to $539 with water included...and best of all no critters! I've never waited for more than two days for a maintenance request and the people in office actually seem to care....Im trying to get all my friends to move too cuz their giving a 500 referral....almost too good to be true :0 Pros: gym, indoor basketball, resident center, good service, on time repairs, CHEAP RENT! Cons: A little noisy....i think its just my upstairs neighbors tho :( more
