Great food, arrived very quickly.

After living in Thailand, I returned in quest of good Thai food. I tried OSHA based on a recommendation. It took some effort to get to - no parking & in an icky area of town. ...

MMMMM Yummy! 11/2/2005

There is nothing else to say, this Restaurant is AWESOME! The only time I got a dish which was different from #71 (Fried Sauteed Garlic Beef W/Rice), was my first time going there back in 2000. Other than that I've been to Osha countless times & I still order the Garlic Beef, this is the Best Thai Restautrant in SF. Pros: Variety, Food, Fast Service Cons: Space more

If you want to be ignored... 8/24/2005

If you want to be ignored, I recommend this restaurant. We were promptly seated; however no one attended to us for well over 15mins, not even a glass of water. Our food came about the time as our appetizers. The food was not warm. It was definitely a disappointment dining in my neighborhood that night. more

Hungry after clubbing late at night? Think Osha 7/18/2005

Osha is great for all you partygoers living the life in SF. Their pad kee mao is the best I've had in the Bay Area, and their green curry is quite tasty. Prompt service and late hours are definitely a plus. If you're looking for good Thai food at starving-student prices, come here. Pros: tasty eats, open late, cheap Cons: tough to park more

grease, armpits and crap service abound 7/9/2005

The armpits belonged to my sleevless male server who literally threw my food on the table. A total joke of a restaurant. more

Thai in the Neighborhood! 6/4/2005

We live in the area and were disappointed when Jour local Thai restaurant closed. We were on a the search for a new place to replace it and Osha has done that. The menu is quite extensive, the food is delicious and the service is pretty good. Prices aren't all that cheap but pretty reasonable. It is a good option if you are in the Union Square area because the food options are so limited there, it is a 4 or so blocks away. Pros: good food, central location more

Late Night Noodles 6/4/2004

A great little spot for a late night snack, Osha Thai is open until the wee hours. All their dishes are very reasonably priced (under $8) and portions are decent. I've had the spicy noodles with mushrooms, bamboo and chinese broccoli, very good. Service is average but at these prices, who cares? Overall a great spot for a casual meal... Pros: Inexpensive, Open Late more

#1 Thai in the Bay Area for Local Thais! 5/18/2004

I've been to many different Thai restaurants around the Bay Area, including San Francisco, and to make it short OSHA is #1 for the local Thais and those who really appreciate authentic Thai food where the food is excellent, and the value is unbeat! Doesn't get any better than this!!! Pros: food, value more

REALLY GOOD Thai! 4/3/2004

This is a great restaurant for anyone! Only $7 or $8 will cover the cost of your food! Delicious choice of noodles, and ALL plates on the menu are available in vegetarian versions, where tofu is substitued for the meat, so if you are a vegetarian do not be turned off if you do not see any vegetarian entrees off the bat. The waiters and waitresses are also aware of veganism and ask if egg is okay (if you chose to have a vegetarian version and the original contains egg). The Rice noodles are the best!!! This is definately a must to try for anyone! And don't be afraid if you don't like spice, not all entrees are hot, and you can always ask for mild, which I recommend unless you like really spicy food..... so what are you waiting for??.... get down to geary and eat some incredible Thai! Pros: open late, low prices, very fast service more

My wife is Thai and has... 3/3/2003

only been here in the states for 6 months. We have tried so many Thai restaurants in Sf with only a few passable. OSHA is the real deal. It is not Royal Thai cuisine but it is what you find in and around Thailand that is so popular. Cheap eats cooked authentically. To the lady who gave it a 3 adn said it was not good I would like to know where she was in Thailand. She must have eaten at the hotel restaurants and farang(foreigner) places exclusively. It is also a hip place to go...always full but rarely a wait more htan a few minutes...you are served minutes after you order always fresh and tasty. Pros: Thai laht nah, Larb gai, thai spicy pan fried more

MMMMMMM 1/21/2003

This place has delicious food and quick service. Try their chicken with garlic and basil. Pad thai is also great. Top it off with an order of fried banana with vanilla ice cream. I think I'll go now. Sometime you may encounter a long wait. more
