Terrible customer service. They called an hour after they were supposed to show up to cancel the appt. Told us they couldn't get us in for another week. Really??? You would think they would be more accommodating since they cancelled on us. Girl on phone was rude and could care less you had to take off work to wait for them only to have them cancel. more

I'm not sure whether it was the owner or a worker who came to service my boiler. Whoever it was, it was the worst service and lack of professionalism I've ever encountered with an individual involve in any type of home related service. My 2 year old boiler wasn't working properly on a 5 degree night. Because it was that cold, I needed someone to look at it immediately. So, I called the company which installed the boiler to come take come take a look at it, however, they were unable to because of the workload during day. After making a few other calls, O'Donnnell heating agreed to come take a look at problem. After spending no more than 5 minutes accessing the situation, it was clear to him that the gas valve was the issue. I asked him how much it would cost, he said $450. I also asked him if parts like this are usually under warranty. He said it was unlikely; however, if wish to I could call the company which installed it and find out. So I did. I was lucky that I did. I was told the part was under warranty and they would be able to replace it. However, it would have to be the following morning. So I politely told O'Donnell heating that would wait until the morning for the other company to install the part. He angrily pickup his tools and stormed out. Only stopping to give me a receipt AND Collect the 86 dollars he charged for the service call. I went back downstairs to find that the gas valve connection and wires were still apart. Scared of the potential of something happening I called him to return and put everything back the way he found it. He said he was not going to. The only way was able to get him back to was to let him know that I would call the police and press charges on him if he didn't. Finally, he reluctantly agreed to come back and put everything together. I went out and got a space heater for the night. They next morning the other heating company came and access the problem. They said there was nothing wrong with the gas valve. The problem turned out to be a loose wire. There are many individuals like these who seem to prey on homeowners in their most desperate time of need. more

I had a simple 'pilot will light will not stay on' problem. The gas valve and thermocouple had just been replaced, but another company had come that may not have reassembled the pilot and burners properly,so same problem. He spent a total of THIRTY SECONDS visually looking at the furnace. Said I needed an $800 cleaning or a new furnace. He was arrogant and had a poor attitude. I sent him away. Another company came an hour later, said there was absolutely no reason for the cleaning. They adjusted the burners and pilot, replaced a small part and the furnace was running in about 45 minutes. more

We called O'Donnell to come out and give us an estimate to what we think is a simple repair. However, when he got to our house - he refused to go in our crawl space ( he did not think he would fit - but we have had bigger guys tan him down there) and said he would send someone out a few days later. Never heard from him again. I guess he didn't need/want our business. more

odonnells was great. fixed my ac for me. refered to all my friends and family and they are vary happy with their work. fast and reliable anytime of the day. and the decals on the service vans are sweet like no other. more

Mr. O'donnell charged me $700 for a simple furnace repair. I called other companies and was told that it was $300 repair. He was rude and condescending, bad experience. more

Imagine coming home from Grandma's house on Christmas Day and finding that your furnace isn't working. So you call the heating company you heard about from a friend, and explain what's happening. Then imagine that the owner of the company himself shows up within 30 minutes and fixes the problem in time to get your sleepy 9-month-old tucked in at bedtime. This actually happened to us, and this is why I can't imagine using anyone else! more
