The ribs are very delicious and the rub is just stupid good. ?Lots of garlic and the flavor stands on it's own. ?Then there's the sauce which is a nice mild honey bbq sweet-n-smoky sauce and I think it compliments the ribs nicely. ?I could almost just do sauce shots. ?I usually run out while grubbing on the ribs and hafta go get more as I also like to dip my bread in it. ?Haven't tried the spicy, cuz I just don't need heat in my bbq. more

I have been about a dozen times and have had a fantastic experience with the food. I always order the tri-tip, either the dinner or the sandwich. The meat is good quality, the sides are always delicious, and the choice of sauces are all very good. Last time I got the garlic mashed potatoes and the tri-tip chilli for my choice of sides. Delicious combo.? more

My husband and I discovered O'Connors in August after a daunting search for good BBQ, and have been back at least once-- probably twice-- every week since. more

All of the meat, the sides (esp. tri-tip chili and fries), the sauces, the appetizers-- even the milkshakes (which, by the way, they take the time to eak out every last drop of shake, which, to me, shows how much they care about their customers). more

Dude, my mouth started watering the moment I hit the parking lot. You can smell this place from a mile away.? I love BBQ, and now that In Cahoots is gone, this place is king.? Not sure what the deal is with the bad reviews, I've been here on more than a few occasions and, from the service to the food, it's always consistently excellent. So forget the naysayers and get out to Orangevale and get some BBQ! Oh yeah, and they have a great kid's menu too, so take the rugrats. more

One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to. Period. My roommate's been there twice. The first time she ordered a burger cooked well done. The burger itself cost almost $9 and it took twenty minutes (twenty!!) to arrive and when it did it tasted like it had been indeed cooked tor twenty straight minutes. It was like shoe leather. The second time she got a burger but ordered it cooked medium. Same exact thing. I finally tried it myself to day and ordered the buffalo wings. I got 6 for $6 and change and it didn't take too long but the texture, taste and look suggested that they had been pre-fried and dipped and then microwaved to order. They were stale, dry, tough and flavorless, the sauce was unremarkable and there wasn't enough of it. They came with some water logged baby carrots and a cup of lumpy ranch dressing. Yes, lumpy. (bleu cheese wasn't an option). This pace is awful. And overpriced to boot. If you want decent wings go to BJ's or Chicago Fire on Sutter St in Folsom or a WingStop. For any other BBQ, head to Texas West. I wish I had just gone to the neighboring Dairy Queen. Pros: There's a Texas West BBQ on the other side of town Cons: everything else more
