At first, I was impressed with the sales person and thought I could trust him and hence went with the purchase. But after that, a few things (paint/dent repair, scratched wheels, lump in one tire - though replaced) were disclosed after I signed the contract, though I did not like it, I still decided to buy. At home, my mechanic found active active engine oil leaks near the gasket (?) and all 4 fuel injection rod on one side and also a dried leak of the power steering fluid.
All these in less than 5 minutes of just looking under the hood and looking at white fumes coming from leaked oil burning near the above mentioned area.
Now, the sales person was nice and he said we will take care of that for you, but what does it tell you about this dealership and how can you trust them. They said, they somehow missed it..., then the sales person NICELY asks me to take it to a authorized MB dealership and they will fix it for free as it has some warranty left. I said ok to that as well. Then I ask for the owners manual which was missing and they said they do not have it. They did the same thing for the second key and when I insisted that there is no deal w/o the second key, they pulled out the second key from the magic hat. So this time too I insisted on the manual (and it can be a life saver if you do not know all the diagnostics light...) and this time the Owner Vince (?) comes over the phone and starts yelling that we gave you a good deal below our cost and blah blah like a cheap used car salesman and that you are asking for too much...! AM I ? How about being honest and disclosing everything at first and not after the contract is signed. WHAT ABOUT THE ENGINE OIL LEAKS (in 3 different places) YOU WERE TRYING TO HIDE !? And what hurt the most was that he kept saying that you are CHEAP and buying a USED CAR and not a $65,000 brand new car. THIS IS WHAT HE THINKS ABOUT PEOPLE BUYING USED CARS. He wont say it to your face though if you are buying one but you know exactly what he thinks about you. So go ahead and give him your business.
BTW, the owner Vincent is scamming us by posting 5-star reviews for his business himself. You can see it for yourself under Google Business reviews and his Id VincentOC posing as a customer from Texas.
Good con job you have going here Vince !?
Pros: Sales person was friendly
Cons: Hide issues, cursing at customers, 3rd grade used car dealer
