The employees at Norwood Furniture have such amazing design expertise. During our d?cor renovation they made the experience fun and exciting. For one we did not walk away with buyer?s remorse. Beyond the Best 2/28/2011

When we walked into Norwood Furniture, my wife and I were warmly welcomed by Robin and Janet, two extremely positive professionals. We had shopped at other furniture companies, which held no comparison to Norwood?s quality of workmanship and professionalism of services. Janet committed over 3 hours listening to our furniture needs. She showed us several pieces of furniture to help us determine our likes and dislikes. Using this information, she brought out a large magnet board, sketched our living room and revealed the finished look. Janet continued computing the dimensions and showing us how each piece could work in the room. These efforts ensured the pieces of furniture would fit comfortably. more

Poor claims process 2/27/2011

I bought an expensive leather sectional (6000$) I had problems with it immediately. they sent out a claims representative who determined there was a problem...piece by piece problems occured to the point where they agreed to take the item back. Eventhough they determined the piece to be defective they would only give a store credit. I really didnt want to purchase morre from them as there was nothing else they carried that interested me. However I ordered a custom sofa/recliner and chair 1/2....Key City is the brand name. When it arrrived 8 weeks later the skirt did not lay properly as the frame was built up higher than the padding. The claims rep. came out again looked at it agreed it was an issue as once it is sat on the skirt bunches up over the frame and does not lay even close to the floor. I was told to buy some velcro and that should work. With all due respect why should I pay 6000$ for a second round of furniture and have to repair it myself? In summation the velcro, more

Norwood best furniture store in town! 2/15/2011

Around 6 months ago, we started the furniture hunt for a couple of barren rooms in our new home. After visiting the usual furniture chain stores, we stumbled into Norwood and met Judyth. Within 10 minutes, she showed us a dining room set that fit us perfectly. During the brief time we had, she made quite the impression on both of us. The next week, she visited our home to get a feel for what we had, and what we were trying to accomplish in some additional rooms. I?m not the type of person who looks forward to furniture shopping all day, but Judyth mad the experience enjoyable. She kept the atmosphere light, but kept us focused throughout the day. \r \r Before walking into Norwood, I was unaware of the vast quantities of fabric available, and was quite overwhelmed. Judyth was able to quickly navigate through, stopping only at those that would work for our taste. What we hoped for! 1/11/2011

We had looked around for what would fill our needs and never quite found what we wanted/needed until we came by Norwood furniture. We met Nancy there and she listened to what we wanted, and showed us a couple of alternatives, one being exactly what we had hoped to find?somewhere. The pricing was in the range we had intended to spend, and finding that they had a sale going on was an additional incentive for us. As it turned out, we spent less than our anticipated amount. It was a pleasure working with them and as a needs arise I will visit the store again. more

Very Happy 12/30/2010

We are very happy with our six chairs and two ottomans. All the fabric on the chairs is beautiful. Jody Marcus was great to work with and we'll be back to norwoods to work with her again. We really liked their huge showroom with so much to choose from. Norwood is a wonderful place for all furniture needs. more

Excellent experience!! 12/16/2010

We made the decision to completely furnish our new home out in Peralta Trails and my non-shopping husband wanted to go shopping. Having worked across from Norwood Furniture in the mid-80's, I knew where to go to find a family owed and operated store where service and customers were always first, but I didn't know that I would find Cathe. From the very beginning of our relationship when she allowed my husband to just wander the store, to the ease of communication with us to determine our needs, to coming out to a being-built house, to the completed delivered product Cathe was patient, professional and personable. Not only do I have a wonderfully furnished home, within budget, but I have found a friend as well! more

Professionals 12/7/2010

My wife and I happened to go to Norwood after already having been to 4 or 5 other stores looking for some nice side chairs. I know I was rude when their sales person, Janie first approached me and I am sorry for that. I had been jumped on by sales people at the other stores and was not in the mood. But, Janie had a gentle approach, and the way she helped us completely disarmed me. We are very happy with our purchases. We ended up also getting a lounge chair, and truly enjoyed our time in the store. This store employs true professionals. more

Great place to shop for furniture 11/23/2010

I am happy to tell of my experience with Norwood. I have been shopping at Norwood for 12-13 years. I have always had the most enjoyable time. Janie and Kelly are the designers that I work with there and I can't say enough about their willingness to help and how professional and detailed they are. They make sure my furniture will fit where it needs to in the room and will fit through my doors. That is not always the case, with other stores I've shopped! more

When I moved 2 years ago into my beautiful new house, I wanted to keep certain pieces but also needed additional items that would really make it home. In my search, I came across Norwood's and designer, Cathe. Cathe was the only person who followed through and understood what I needed and that sold me on Norwood's. I have used them for all my furniture, accessory and window treatment needs. Cathe and the Norwood's team have treated me like family, always so helpful from the receptionist to the delivery people. I couldn't be happier with the service and the results and highly recommend them to all my friends and family. more

We enjoyed working with Norwood and their designer, Janet when we selected our furniture. She was patient and very professional. She took the time to help us layout our furniture so everything would fit and we felt comfortable. Norwood?s deliverymen were wonderful, too. They were also very professional and very good at their job. It was a real pleasure to work with everyone at Norwood. They all made us feel like the customer really mattered. more

Great furniture 6/8/2009

I've purchased my sectional couch from Norwood. After visiting many stores it was the only one that had unique items...and something my boyfriend and I could agree on. Staff was friendly and nice and furniture arrived within the time discussed during the ordering process. It actually came a couple weeks early. I'll be back. Only con is that they are only open after 5pm certain days of the week. more
