Dr. David Wright is a kind and caring man. I had to have surgery and was frighten about it . He calmed my fears. Dr. Wright explained the whole procedure with pictures to help explain. My surgery went very well, my heart wasn't happy, but that cleared up. He also explained what could happen later on, but is again fixable. I would recommend Northwood Ob and Gyn to every woman with a gyn problem. more

Dr. Peter Bump is part of Northwoods OB/GYN. This was the practice that I chose when I was pregnant and delivered my son in 2000. Dr. David Wright was my main OB/GYN, however I did have the opportunity to see Dr. Bump on a couple of occasions during my pregnancy. I felt very comfortable with him and felt he developed a fast repoire with me. He had a wonderful bedside manner and I would have been completely comfortable if he had been the one to deliver my son. more

I had previously been to Northwoods OB/GYN for routine check ups so when I found out I was pregnant, I sought them out for my pre-natal care. There office is so friendly and so helpful, especially when you're a first time mom who has lots of questions. Once I went into labor, they were very supportive of me. I eventually ended up having to have a c-section which was performed by Dr. David Wright. I had expressed my fears about a c-section (I have a "weak" stomach when it comes to medical procedures and I was scared of being awake for the procedure.) Dr. Wright went above and beyond what he needed to do to put me at ease. The atmosphere in the O.R. was extremely relaxed. Knowing my fears, he went out of his way to be subtle about what he was doing. I never even heard him ask for a scalpel. I don't know how he did it but he turned a very scary experience into an amazing one. I highly recommend him. He's not just there "doing a job," he truly cares about his patients. more
