Review content:
I had previously been to Northwoods OB/GYN for routine check ups so when I found out I was pregnant, I sought them out for my pre-natal care. There office is so friendly and so helpful, especially when you're a first time mom who has lots of questions. Once I went into labor, they were very supportive of me. I eventually ended up having to have a c-section which was performed by Dr. David Wright. I had expressed my fears about a c-section (I have a "weak" stomach when it comes to medical procedures and I was scared of being awake for the procedure.) Dr. Wright went above and beyond what he needed to do to put me at ease. The atmosphere in the O.R. was extremely relaxed. Knowing my fears, he went out of his way to be subtle about what he was doing. I never even heard him ask for a scalpel. I don't know how he did it but he turned a very scary experience into an amazing one. I highly recommend him. He's not just there "doing a job," he truly cares about his patients.
