Northwest Animal Hospital Pc

My family has gone to Northwest Animal Hospital for well over 20 years. In fact Dr. George was just a young boy, when his father was the vet. I moved out of state and when I moved back in 2008 the first place was to take my wife's guide dog in for his shots. Dr. George and the whole staff are great. They are a 10 in my book. more

The staff at Northwest are kind and sympathetic. I have been going here my entire life and there has never been a problem. We have had many cats and every single one is treated extremely well here. They have good prices for quality service, and provide excellent care. They offer alternative options, if needed, also. Their facility is small, but well-kept and clean. Go to Northwest Animal Hospital and you won't be sorry. more

I deeply regret going here. I took my best friend, a three year old pomeranian here and they immediately sent me home and made me feel like I was being paranoid. I didn't feel that he was okay so my instinct told me to bring him back. Again, they sent me home...he died later that night from brain swelling and seizures. If you truly love your animal, don't take them to this place. more

Our family has gone to NW animal hospital for over 20years and has had the most wonderful pet care from Dr. George Rudawsky and his personable staff. I drive 20 miles each way from the heart of Chicago and know that it's well worth the trip each and every time. I appreciate not only each doctor's service, nature and compassion but also appreciate their avoidance of unnecessary procedures. Their pricing is affordable. The staff's compassion and sometimes candor is priceless..they help with every question or concern. With that said...I was surprised to read the critical 2 star comment posted earlier as I would like to believe it was made in haste. As anyone can atest to...anyone can have a bad day and from my experience with NW...every day for their staff is likely a stressful one...for they are dealing with numerous last minute pet appointments for stressed, concerned and emotional clients. They are always accommodating and courteous...I recommend them to anyone and everyone. You will not find anything better...my dogs certainly don't complain. Hope this helps. more

I have been taking my animals to NW Animal Hospital for over 18 years. Each time I visit, the quality of service declines. The receptionist who has been working there for a long time, is very rude and impatient to customers. I feel that the doctors take advantage of their customers by performing unnecessary tests and misdiagnosing the problem. I am truly disappointed in their service and have sought out another Vet- well worth the extra 10 mile trip. more

My family and I have been going to NW Animal Hospital with our pets since I was a little girl. This is truly THE BEST facility in the Chicagoland area! Dr. George and staff make everyone feel like family -- pets and people included!! It's nice to know you can bring your pet to a facility where they are caring from the moment you walk in the door. I highly recommend to anyone who is looking for fabulous veterinary care for their precious animals!! more

I have been going to Northwest Animal Hospital for over 13 years now, I love the services Dr. George Rudawsky, Dr. Courtney and the rest of the staff have provided not only to my pets, who are my life, but to myself when one of my beloved pets had to be put down due to cancer. I only wish more vets can be like the team at Northwest Animal Hospital. I will miss how great you all have treated my babies, keep up the great work. Kudos :) more

Dr. George Rudawsky is the Marcus Welby of veterinarians. His knowledge of veterinarian medicine is beyond reproach. At the same time, he is willing to discuss and consider alternative treatments.He is affable and treats his four legged patients with the kind of kindness and love that they do not teach in veterinarian school. The staff is also extremely professional, knowledgeable and warm hearted animal lovers. Finally, the facilities are roomy and always clean. If you live any where near O'Hare (and even if you don't, it's more than worth the trip -- we live in Evanston) do your pet and yourself a favor, a big favor, see Dr. George. more

I have been taking my pets here for years now and I always get nice service. The people working there are so kind and are very helpful. They feel the pain when a pet is put down and put an arm around you and say I'm so sorry. I can call the office and get my pet in the same day. Infact, I just had to call them for my cat and they said sure bring him in at 10:15. I have a dog that hates going there due to her just being chicken to get her nails trimmed. The people there work with me to make it a nice experience as possible for her and me. more
