Never go to Northstar Ford. they are the peronification of Used Car Sales' Men! I lost enough money on them to keep me awake at night. They cheated me twice. Shame on them and shame on me. I bought a car when they had some sales people up from Texas. They took me to the cleaner. those are the terms the Northstar sales person used later on when I wanted to get rid of the car. Northstar was going to try to ""help"" me by giving me a ""good"" trade in. still lost $5K. Here is what they did: I had looked at two cars - one was $23 and one was $21. i was interested in the $21, and they agreed to come down $1K. so the price should have been $20. When they set ut the financing they swithed the prices so they took $1 off the $23 and I ended up paying $22. I did not catch it so shame on me. they also knew very well by then that I am totally ignorant when it comes to cars and took advantage - again - of this. My boyfriend has three Fords - he will never shop at Northstar ever again. A Lincoln, an Exploer and a Mustang. Another friend has a Focus, an F150 and a Mustang. He will also never go there again. WARNING to all of you: Never go to Northstar Ford. more

STAY AWAY FROM NORTHSTAR FORD 2/21/2012

Today i stopped at North Star Ford for an oil change and they were very rude. They tried to rip me off multiple times and it took me to raise my voice for them to agree. Also i brought my ford vehicle there once due to a mechanical issue and they wanted to charge me $500 even when i still had the Ford warranty. I said no, went to Benna Ford in superior, and they did it for free. Many of my relatives have had trouble at North Star Ford as well. And i don't know if its just me, but it looks like the dealer or something wrote those previous posts. Bottom line, STAY AWAY FROM NORTH STAR FORD!!!!!!! more

Amazing Customer Service! 2/26/2011

was in the market for a new car and was interested in trying out a Ford. I was warmly greeted right when I walked through the door and the sales person was so friendly! He sat down with me and went through all the options; I fell in love with the ""Mediterranean Blue"" Edge that was on their show room floor; I had to dealer trade for it since they had just sold the one I saw but it was so EASY to do! The whole sales team made the process just effortless. I got my new edge in a week, the sales person walked me through SYNC and showed me all the buttons. It was a little overwhelming but he said to have me give him a call whenever I had any questions. Super Nice! They also have a service department (which I'm totally going to use) that makes it overall convenient. Thank you NorthStar Ford for being so wonderful! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the market! more

Dealer initiated discount discussion 4/5/2008

During my 2008 search for a small SUV, North Star Ford was my 5th dealership visited. After my test drive, I mentioned to the salesman that I was comparing the Ford Escape to 5 other SUVs. He had his Sales Manager speak to me at that point. The Sales Manager offered me a very large discount and a trade-in that was $200 over Kelly Blue Book. He offered to dealer-shop for me, because he didn't have the color I wanted. After thinking about his offer over night, I purchased a different SUV - only because my wife liked it slightly better, and a different dealer also offered a large discount. Had the Ford Escape been my final choice, I definitely would have bought it at North Star Ford. The salesman was very good at explaining his product, and the Sales Manager was very transparent about explaining both the price I'd have paid for the Escape and the price I'd have received for my trade. Pros: Dealer initiated conversation about discount. Cons: My exact color and option choice wasn't immediately available. more
