North Shore Pediatrics

I have a new insurance and north shore is a member on the insurance and tried to appointment and had a promble with no education about new insurance, make you feel like the company need to do more education with employment.. more

I have been taking my son Carl there since he was born and I absolutely love it....Kat is so nice and my sons nurse Veronica is one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet. My son is 9months old today and he doesn't go to just anybody.....but he loves Veronica....and Kat too:-)! I would recommend NSP to anyone with children.... more

I just have to say a big Thank You for providing the best care all of these years. I was a former paitent from the day I was brought into this world till I turned 18 (which I was then told I would have to find a primary care doctor). Saddest day ever. :-) my mother was also a nurse there for a number of years and always reffered anyone she knew to your office. I eventually had children of my own. I had no doubt about who I was going to choose as their pediatrician. All of my expectations have been met, Dr. Toland is one of the most knowledgeable doctors I have ever known, and I have been enjoying getting to know the new staff/doctors. I honestly could not imagine taking my two daughters anywhere else. Again, thank you for all of your dedication and hard work. more

I am very happy with the new staff at north shore pediatrics. they have been very friendly everytime we come in. The nurses are always very friendly and their new doctor is really nice. I had a questions about a bill and the staff was very nice explaining my insurance information to me. more

Fowl Mouth Front Desk!\r After a couple months of dwelling on this I have decided to write a review about North Shore Pediatrics. While I will NEVER return I would like to point out a positive thing about this office. They have a nurse there and her name is Veronica and she is always very nice and very attentive to our needs and we appreciate it very much. However I was there in March and there is a horrible lady up front that has a vulgar mouth and just seems very trashy and her name is Kat. While sitting in the waiting room I heard her talking about sex and curse words were just flying out of her mouth left and right and it was just down right unprofessional. There are small children in your doctor’s office and you all let this happen?? I can only imagine how horrible management must be!! Unfortunately this is not the first time I have heard inappropriate things as I have walked past the front desk, but it is the last time me or my child will ever have to listen to it! Last but not least Dr. Toland is a great Doctor but some of his staff is very questionable. I will never come back to this doctor’s office every again. \r more

She now works for Wards Corner Pediatrics. I am sorry that you had a bad experience. Please feel free to come meet our new providers as here at NSP. Dr. Toland is still here along with Dr. Saeed and Becky, CPNP. I am going to ask city search to delete this post since it is for the wrong practice. more

Dr. Chaganty is the worst doctor I have ever met. She is extremely rude and disrespectful. She should not be in a field that deals with people, let alone children. I work in the medical field and was appalled by my experience. I will never return to this practice and will let everyone I know not to come here as well. more

I have been going to doctor toland since I was a child. My daughters now go there and love it. I just had an appointment with their new doctor, dr saeed, and she is so nice. The front desk staff played with my daughter and she loved them. I would reccomend doctor toland to all of my friends. He really cares and is really knowledgeable. The new staff is great! more

I am very sorry to see any bad reviews listed below for North Shore Pediatrics. This business has been around for 36 years and I would like to apologize to any patient that has had a bad experience. We are now under new management and have hired a new Doctor, Nurse Practitioner, and entire new office staff including nurses. We are centered around customer service and happy to announce the New North Shore Pediatrics! Please come see us and meet our new staff and managers. more

A coworker referred me as well. My son saw Dr. Toland who called my son ""FAT"" to his face several times and told us what horrible health problems FAT kids have. On and on about FAT. He did not offer a single suggestion on how to lose weight, just harped on the FAT word. My 8 year old was very hurt and I was insulted he would say such things to a child. How belittling! We have since started seeing Dr Joyce at the same office and he is MUCH better. Forget about Tambra, she comes across as a bit rude and incompetent. Dr. Chaganty is OK, but complains about how busy and overworked she is. (Am I paying to listen to her complain??? I just drove almost 2 hours from work to pick my son up from school and get him here!!! Not to mention the wait time in the office.) I think Dr Toland's son manages the Chesapeake office (they share the same last name) so I try to politely turn down appointments with Dr Toland when he offers. more

I was referred by a coworker. My appointment was for 4pm and I arrived around 3:40pm, waited until after 5pm before I was called to the back and finally saw the doctor around 5:40pm. I understand this happens from time to time but not a good 1st impression. Had to work on a pre authorization for the medication prescribed and called to follow up, the person who answered the phone was VERY unprofessional. Finally got the prescription 2 days later, took it to the pharmacy and it wasn't signed by the doctor so I was turned away. Spoke with the ofc mgr Dave who apologized and said someone would call me when a new one was ready, two days later I follow up and it was. I asked why no one called me and couldn't get an answer. Two weeks later my son has no medication, needless to say my children will not be going back there!!!!!!!!! more

North shore pediatrcis is a great place to take your child. They are always there for you when you need them, and if they are closed the answering service will page a doctor for you to get in contact with. They are very friendly and helpful. more
