Really nice place with a great energy and nice staff. Their rates are affordable even without health insurance and the practitioners I encountered were very intuitive and skilled....

My partner and I tried massage at the center this week and were extremely pleased with the experience. Anne Marie placed us with the perfect therapists for our individual needs; relaxation for me, deep tissue work on a sports injury for my partner. We've both booked upcoming appointments and are looking forward to returning. The atmosphere is lovely - we spent 10 minutes post-massage sitting on the large front porch, enjoying the day. A great thing to do on a spring afternoon. more

I agree with Nyki N. below, I never feel like a pay check to the practitioners at NPWC. I am always impressed and taken a back when at the start of each appointment I am asked how is my body and they actually wait for an answer and delve into the the things I mention as well as bring up other areas for me to consider talking about. I don't go consistently for various reasons but I consistently return when I need to address something. I have been a client at NPWC for the past 4 years. more

Dr. Keenan Burgardt, Chiropractic Specialist, has continued my healing with his individualized treatment plan. In fact, when he suggested that I could lessen my appt., I was very apprehensive ~~~ but it's true!! He listens to my aches and pains, then proceeds to address that concern. I am so pleased I continued on with him since Dr. Simmons was transferred out. \r \r And Ann Marie, receptionist, is still the best smiling face to greet me each time. She is competent with all questions and oh, so pleasant and helpful.\r \r I also visit Mary Chen, acupunture, for my back.\r These two people have made me feel wonderful again!\r No more Advil for me!! And this location is easy to find and park even though I come from Beaverton!! more

The atmosphere at North Portland Wellness Center is lovely - it is quiet and relaxing and the building has been renovated beautifully. My experiences with staff have been great. My most recent visit was for a massage with Ario. He listened to what I wanted and I felt so much better after my massage. I already made my next appointment! more

I absolutely LOVE this place in every way. Tiffany Ueltschi is a fantastic massage therapist and has helped me so much with my tendonitis over the last few months. I also recently started seeing Maura Dawgert for acupuncture and she is excellent as well. \r In addition, I can't say enough good things about the front desk/billing staff; they're always so friendly and have been very prompt and helpful with processing my insurance claims (something I can't say for other naturopathic clinics I've been to). The space itself is beautiful and relaxing; it's always the highlight of my day whenever I come to NPWC for an appointment. more

When I arrived for my massage I was told to wait upstairs. 25 minutes later I walked back downstairs because no one had come to get me. I was informed that the therapist wasn't there and could I wait in the waiting room while the receptionist talked with the owner. 5 minutes later I was asked to keep waiting. After another 5 minutes I walked up to the front desk, tired of being shuffled between waiting rooms. The receptionist apologized and explained that the owner would give me 50% my next appointment. I explained I was using the Chinook coupon (already buying 2 massages) and she tried to get me to agree to buy another!? When I asked if I could use the 50% discount toward the Chinook purchase she said she didn't know and asked me to wait. At that point I had already wasted nearly 45 minutes and I said no. She said she'd call me when she found out. Nothing yet. Frustrating, rude, unacceptable. more

I've had my first chiropractic appointment there and had a wonderful experience. I was actually late to my appointment and they did everything they could to accommodate me, and the practitioner was very effective not only in treating my neck/back discomfort but in helping me learn new stretches so I can help myself. I completely recommend NPWC. more

I've been going to North Portland Wellness Center for a couple months now. It's such a lovely place. The front desk staff is always friendly and helpful. The ambiance is calm and relaxing. There's complimentary hot tea, and the bathrooms are always clean. But the real jewel is the acupuncture. Colleen Bunker has helped facilitate so much healing for me. She's professional and caring. I'm so grateful to have found North Portland Wellness Center. more

I just started acupuncture at NPWC. All of the practitioners have been great, very friendly and attentive, answering all my questions about the treatment and how it relates to my condition. The space is very calm too, a nice house that is so quiet and peaceful, with a friendly and efficient scheduling team. I'm feeling better, have real pain relief and more energy, and look forward to my treatments. \r more

I started going to the NPWC when I was 8 months pregnant for a prenatal massage. It was fabulous! They provide proper support for both front-lying and back-lying massage positions...and after many months of side-lying only, this is a real treat! They are well informed in the art of prenatal treatment and with their attention to abdominal massage techniques, even the baby gets a massage :) I highly recommend NPWC to anyone seeking a great prenatal massage. Ask for Tiffany! more

The staff here is very polite and professional, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Sara, the massage therapist, is very knowledgeable and I am noticing results after only a couple of sessions. I plan to continue my massage therapy sessions here and I would certainly recommend the North Portland Wellness Center to a friend! more
