The carpet cleaner was a handsome, courteous man. He was professional & efficient in cleaning my bedroom carpet on a Saturday. I noticed he had a warm, respectful attitude towards his boss. I could imagine him taking over the business or starting his own business in another field. I work in HR for a large corporation and he had the skill sets we desire. more

Thorough, friendly, accountable, dependable 8/1/2012

My daughter-in-law is allergic to cats. Mike helped me establish a game plan to ensure the furniture, carpeting and drapes would be clean. It was her best visit yet suffering not at all! I also was able to modify my order over the phone. The tech called with questions to make sure the job was done correctly. The carpet in our rental is ancient and it was actually 'fluffy' after it was cleaned. I was truly impressed! Thank you North American Chem-Dry -- you're the best! more

Carpet was in pretty bad shape with lots of dark and dirty spots, Carlos did an amazing job and made it look brand new. Mike was great on the phone and helped to get the best price. Overall had a great experience with the company. more

I had to have them come out twice. The first time the guy didnt have the proper equipment and the job was not done to satisfaction. The second time the guy returned with the opwner of the operation and they redid it and it was great. more

One time I spilled coffee on the carpet. Another company came and could not clean it up. I tried several over the counter products. No go. Chem Dry came and the carpet looks great. more

Try another Chem Dry company 8/18/2011

Made an appointment at 2:30pm for carpet cleaning at our rental property. At 3pm, I called because no one showed up and no one called. Was told that the tech would be another hour and a half. Was told that I would get a call 20 minutes prior. At 5pm, I called and was told the tech would be there in ten minutes. Yes, the tech eventually got there and he was nice and did a good job with the carpets. The disappointment was the lack of consideration for my time (waiting at a vacant rental house with my kids in tow was a complete waste of time), not calling to tell me of the late arrival, not arriving at any of the times promised, and the marginal administrative/office staff. And the actual cost was $50 higher than the highest over the phone estimate. With all of the other chem dry choices out there I will be sure to try a different company next time. more

GREAT Experience! Definitely Recommend Using Them! 6/7/2011

I would definitely use this service again! I needed to have the carpets in my apartment cleaned before moving out, so I did some research online and decided to try out North American Chem Dry - so glad I did! Mike was very friendly and helpful both over the phone and in person. He arrived on time and went through the apartment with me, room by room, to discuss any stains, the cost, etc. He worked quickly, but didn't seem rushed, and the carpets looked BEAUTIFUL when he was done! Literally, they were in better condition than when we moved in to the apartment (which my landlord noticed as well). Also, whatever products they use on the carpet smell kind of fruity, which I really liked, because normally the carpet cleaning process reminds me of a wet dog or smells like straight up chemicals. The carpets also dry relatively quickly (about 2 hours), so that was helpful as well. Overall, I had a very positive experience with this company and would definitely recommend using them! It sure beats renting a Rug Doctor and doing it yourself! more

Professional Service, superior carpet cleaning, competent reliable and complete service 5/31/2011

Chem Dry came to the rescue! My clients cream color carpets were shot after 10 years of hard wear and staining. I was preparing the house to sell, replace carpets or clean. Chem dry said they could remove a good portion of the staining. These were deep, dark and ugly stains - sodas, paint and who knows what else. Chem dry took out 95 of the discoloration and in the ugly portions, at least 80. They saved my clients lots of money and the house shows beautfully. Thank you Chem Dry team! more

Above Average 5/25/2011

Great service. Staff very nice. He recommended the protection, which I purchased. But with my luck, my pups ate something that day and decided to bring it back up that night. The spots appeared once again, and to no avail, did not come out. The spot cleaner really didn't work the way I thought. I will continue with Chem-Dry..Better than most! Very thorough with communication before, during and after service. more

Best place in SF for carpet and upholstery cleaning 5/7/2011

I've been using SF Carpet Cleaning for most of my 30 years in SF. Whenever I strayed (eg Coit), I regretted it. I've only had excellent technicians who know their business, excellent service and the most reasonable prices in town. Mike is great. He knows the business inside and out, and comes to my rescue whenever I need him. I'm currently living in an apartment building built circa '77. I think the original rugs are still here. You'd never be able to tell. And the carpet is white! Whatever it is, Mike knows how to get it out, including those stains that magically reappear a few days after other carpet cleaners leave. And for much less than they charge. Last but not least, my carpet is dry in about an hour. It's a miracle. You just can't go wrong with these guys. more

Best carpet cleaners we have ever used!!! 5/4/2011

Mike Rivera and his crew are professional, friendly, and at the top of the list when it comes to service and cleaning. They stand behind their work and are always courteous and friendly during the process. They listen to your concerns and have always cleaned our carpets with the utmost care and professionalism. I am a property manager with 3 residential buildings to take care of and I use North American Chem-Dry ONLY for all of them. Each building has different carpeting and North-American Chem-Dry cleans all of them superbly!!! I highly recommend them to everyone who wants the most professional carpet cleaning they can get!! Always takes the time to personally address any new issues I have and makes honest recommendations.
