Normandy Remodeling

If you choose Normandy...you better be prepared for a long construction time. We started our job on October 22nd and because they use multiple crews working on jobs all over town we have had more days waiting for someone to show up than actual work done. After 5 weeks, which would be a normal bathroom redo with one crew working, we have a gutted bathroom with just the drywall being completed. We are probably looking at another 5 weeks for completion at this rate. It has ruined our holidays. Knowing what I know now...I should have went with a contractor that uses one crew for everything. By the way Normandy was $20k over the other bids but we went with them because they use a designer, who was wonderful by the way. Just be prepared for a lot of down time where nothing is being done. more

We had a wonderful experience with Normandy. Tony Tondelli worked diligently from our initial meeting until the start of construction. We were not adding any square footage, but rather working with a small space and attempting to maximize the functionality of our kitchen. He was very knowledgeable and helped us design a kitchen that we never could have imagined would fit in our home. He was patient with us as we spent many hours selecting everything from large items like the cabinets to the smallest of details. Andy Healy was our project manager. He communicated with us on a daily basis, both in person and on the phone. He clearly described the process and kept us informed on who was coming and when. Andy articulated when we might run into a potential issue and troubleshooted anything unforeseen quickly and effectively. Both Tony and Andy made themselves very accessible to us throughout the project. Tony and Andy made this process seamless and we have no regrets. We were hesitant to remodel as both of our children have asthma and are allergic to dust. I was amazed at how clean our home remained because of the efforts they took to tarp things off. The dust was minimal. Normandy Builders absolutely exceeded our expectations. We have a stunning kitchen that has already made our lives at home so much more functional. We would recommend your company to our family and friends and look forward to working with with them in the future. more

Normandy completely remodeled three bathrooms, the entire kitchen, the office and the mudroom starting May 2011. Although we have built three homes to date, this was our first remodel. The job came in on-time and on-budget and was a satisfying experience from start to finish. And the results were beautiful. Our designer, Leslie Lee, was with us every step of the way as we refined the design. There was never a request too obscure to command her attention and she was tireless in helping us make finish selections. Once the work started, we developed a great relationship with our supervisor, Andy Healy. Very few days passed without some progress being made and he was readily available to address any concerns. We're kinda sorry not to have his company now that the project is over. Of special mention would be the carpentry sub, Bill Rosignal. The quality of his work and his positive attitude were without parallel. In short, any remodeling we ever do will be with Normandy. more
