WOW!! New vet and new decor...BEAUTIFUL! 1/11/2011

I was surprised to walk in and see a complete transformation of Noahs Ark. New vet, Dr. Tomlinson, is AWESOME!! Very knowledgeable and kind. The place looks and smells amazing :) more

Love Noah's Ark 4/13/2010

Dr Franks and her staff knows animals and pays attention to the details! My dog Tucker had a variety of issues. Each one was addressed and within days, he improved immensely. I received a call from their office to check on his progress. I was happy to report he was doing fine. I have been to a lot of vets over the years. This is one of the best! Pros: Great care and attention to detail more

Best animal clinic around! 2/17/2010

My animals have been going to Noah's Ark for years. The doctors and staff are so helpful with educating me on how to properly care for my animals. Each visit the doctors and technicians take their time to explain the entire process to me. Pros: excellent staff, optimal care, educational, caring Cons: none! more

Worst Experience 1/15/2010

My kitten had managed to escape out of the back door at home and was inevitably hit by a car. I took her in to Noah's Ark and had her all checked out. She had fluid in her lungs and a leg that was severely broken. The Vet gave me the options of putting a pin in her leg now that would later have to be replaced or having the leg removed. And if I wasn't able to pay for the procedure(s) they would take my kitten from me and adopt her out to someone else. They kept the clinic very unsanitary, sometimes leaving animal hair where they would perform their next exam. The entire place reeked of dirty animals. If you are going out of town, or need to take your pet in for any medical needs, please do not go here. Pros: None Cons: Smelly, Dirty, Disorganized more

Very dedicated staff 10/17/2009

The staff here were excellent when I needed to bring in my dog for an emergency visit. Though it was near closing time, they took the time to make me and my dog feel better. Pros: Knowledgable staff, flexibility with schedules more

The best vet in Brentwood/Nashville 4/21/2009

My animals have been coming to Noah's Ark since 2006. Dr Suzanne Franks and staff have always given my animals very thorough and wonderful care. They are so compassionate, caring and they really go the extra mile. They are very knowledgeable and always willing to help. I could not imagine taking my pets elsewhere. THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL CARE. Pros: Wonderful vets and caring staff Cons: may have to wait due to treatments on pets more

Dr. Franks and all the staff LOVE THE ANIMALS 4/8/2009

Very wonderful experience- very willing to take care of my dog with no notice- explained problem and treatment- called to check on him the next day- answered all my questions in the office and later that day when I had more, had no problems with me calling- very kind and genuinely interested. Pros: knowledgeable and take great care of animals Cons: often have to wait a bit due to time they take with each pet more

most caring vet in town!!!!!!!!!!!!! 4/6/2009

My dogs and cats have been coming to this clinc for 6 years now. I do not know of any other vet in town that would invest her own money into a stray program. I have adopted 4 out of my 6 pets from her. All my animals were spayed/neutered, fully vetted and kept on flea and heartworm prevention while here at Noah's Ark . The clinic is a very Christian oriented place. They are always willing to ask you how your family is and how your days have been as well as care for your furry children. They are very good about recognizing you and your pet when you call or come in. They are always willing to help in any situation if they are able to. I have spent many nights down there after hours while they have worked on my pets to where I did not have to be sent to a pet emergency clinic. They are always willing to do all the preliminaries prior to the emergency room treatment if needed. A lot of other clinics send you out the door right when they close up. To me that does not show that the other vet clinics care due to the fact that they do not want to be bothered by the inconvenience of staying after hours to care for a sick or injured pet. Pros: always willing to help in any situation-my pets love them:) Cons: sometimes long wait due to throughness on care of pets/owner more

A vet with a heart of gold 3/28/2009

Dr. Franks is a great doctor and will do everything possible to give your animal the best care. She is very skilled in her profession and truly loves animals. This office keeps, feeds, and cares for many homeless animals and tries to find them homes. The fees are fair when someone knows the cost to run this business. My dog has been well taken care of for over five years and I wouldn't take her anywhere else. Pros: well being of your pet is top priority Cons: What are the drawbacks? more

very caring doctor and staff---a+++++ 3/28/2009

I have been going to Noah's Ark for over 5 years and have found the doctor and staff to be outstanding. From routine care to emergency care they have always been top notch! I especially like the fact that this clinic has over the years been actively involved in dog rescue programs and has literally saved hundred of dogs at considerable expense to the clinic. If you want to take your loved one to a vet who sincerely cares for you and your pet then you have that at Noah's Ark. I have a diabetic pug who we adore and anytime there have been scary times they have always been right there for us -everytime. Pros: best vet in town!!!!!! Cons: sometimes hectic because such a busy clinic more

Overcharged, not organized, terrible experience 1/10/2009

Picked up my dogs from boarding and had been overcharged by $300 and no one could take time to talk to me about it becasue it was so crazy and unorganized there. One of my dogs was sick after staying there. Never got a returned phone call after I left several messages. After comparing medicine and visit prices at our new vet this place is ridiculous. Vet cares much more about money than animals. more

Dissatisfied 4/3/2008

We've taken our pets here for about 8 months, and a combination of many small things has left us wanting to change vets. Many times when we have an appointment, we still have to wait to be seen (once for a whole hour). I still don't know who our vet is because nobody ever introduces themselves as the vet, the tech, etc, and we see someone different everytime! They are always very busy and appear overbooked and disorganized. When we call for minor emergencies, we are told to drop off the pet in the morning, and it will be worked in during the day, and we can pick it up at night. They need to leave space in their schedule for last-minute appts like this. Its inconvenient to make two trips there in one day, and we hate to leave the pets in their kennel all day for a 15 minute visit with the vet. Also, when one pet was spayed, she came down with worms two days later. She never goes outdoors, and we don't know where else she could've been exposed to it except at the vet. Then her incision got infected. We just feel its time to switch to somewhere that has better service. Pros: Friendly, not too expensive, open on saturdays Cons: Messy, long waits more

Bad Service, bad environment, your pet may be neglected 1/20/2008

Our dog was dropped off the day before Christmas Eve, and picked up the day after Christmas. When we picked our dog up, he had severe eye infection, terrible ear infection and a skin infection. We left six bags of food (one bag per meal), but only one and a half bag was fed to our dog. Our dog looked neglected, shocked and traumatized when we picked him up. Although we were offered by the vet to take a look at the dog and fee waivers for our dog?s stay and medical expenses, we will NOT recommend anyone to put your beloved pet to this Animal Hospital. It was a horrifying kennel experience, and we don?t want anyone to go through it. This place is very unorganized and dirty. We can?t believe that it?s still in business. Cons: Dirty, unprofessional, unorganized more

Disorganized, unreliable and smelly! 9/10/2007

What a mess! Noah's Ark had terrible service all around. I never saw the same staff member, so it was hard for me to remember who I talked to. There was little communication because they were so disorganized. Pros: They are sometimes friendly. Cons: The place is a mess, they don't verify information, they overcharge (prices are nowhere), and they don't apologize for mistakes! more
