Re-mount 4/1/2014

They were able to remount all 4 of my tires for $60! And they were understanding of me not getting off work until 7pm and help me make arrangements to pick up my truck. more

Honest services from both employees and employer 3/31/2014

Honest services especially for the customers who dont know much bout car maintenance. They tell you the issue, elaborate if u dont understand, although I encourage ppl to read up on it as well, and they don't ever seem to rush the work which I like because it lets me know that they are not just rushing the work to take the money. Always willing to provide estimate so I know how much I need to save. more

My tires were put on backwards 3/10/2014

I went in for an oil change with a coupon (on the home page of http://www.nixontireandauto.com/). I've been there a few times before but had a pretty bad experience on my third visit (2-star rating is my average). First, I was almost charged more than the $54.95 coupon price for my synthetic oil change when I requested Mobil one oil even though "Mobil synthetic" is in the description of the coupon. While waiting for my oil change and tire rotation, the gentleman at the front desk asks: "Who put your tires on? They put them on backwards!" to which I replied "you did. I bought them here a couple of months ago and you guys installed them." He then proceeded to check the computer and did in fact see my invoice. My lunch break oil change turned into 2 & 1/2 hours of sitting in the waiting room watching Top Gear while they remounted all 4 tires. No credit for some likely abnormal wear on my tires, no replacements, not even a discounted oil change. I've met the manager/owner the first two times: he was super helpful and very nice to work with. The guy that helped me that day and the tech that put my tires on initially... not so much. more

Excellent Service 3/6/2014

I had what I thought was an alignment problem and the service guy said it might be a wheel balance issue, which was a cheaper fix. Turns out he was right, which saved me $60! This place is honest, knowledgable, and professional. more

The service here is pretty good. You usually have to wait a while (~1hour for a scheduled oil change) but the wait is worth it. The staff is friendly is helpful. They are about $$ in price. more

My expectations,first experience 2/18/2014

My daughter recommended them She was spot on--at least from my first experience with Nixen. I knew I needed an oil change,but given the age and mileage of my car, it wasn't too much to imagine that other things needed attenntion. I am a fanatical mainenance guy,but moving here,and with several car trfips back and forth to the Midwest, I knew I was overdue for an oil change and possibly more( I have a 2007 Envoy,71,000 mi.) I showed for my 9 am appointment on time and my car was taken to a bay for service right away.In addition to the oil change and the usual lube and service point checks, in doing the usual tire rotation, it was shown to me that my brakes needed some work. I had not had brake work done in, maybe, three years, so had been expecting the work to come sooner or later. I told them to just fix everything they thought need to be done. Happy. more
