Elmer is very accomodating and the whole team is professional and friendly. Very affordable oil change and you get a FREE tire rotation. What could be better?

The guys at Nixon are very helpful, twice we have called them in a panic, and both times, they really came through. Stuck around to let our sons car come in after hours for a flat, very much appreciated from out of town college parents. Thanks! more

Professionlism at a great price. 1/24/2014

I have had at least two or three services to my cars done here, just routine oil changes and tire rotations but they have my confidence for jobs--brakes, tune up etc. Great prices and no BS. more

Nixon's Tires Very Helpful 1/13/2014

I bought tires from the previous owners of the business, and those tires wore out before the 60,000 mile warranty. The helpful people at Nixon's Tires worked with me to get me an almost $200 credit toward the purchase of new tires. They were efficient and helpful. more

Honda Fit Maintenance 1/3/2014

I am pleased with the service. However, I left with my Tire pressure maintenance indicator light on. It hasn't turned off. Don was kind enough to offer for me to return and have it put on the machine for no charge. I appreciate the customer service and feel that he was genuine in his offer. I will definitely do business with Nixon again because of this. I only wish it would have been taken care before I left. more

Disappointed.. 12/27/2013

With scheduled appointment for oil change, I was informed I needed 4 tires. I was sold Yokohama tires and clerk stated he would give me 40,000 mile warranty. 2 1/2 hours later I had tires on that looked like they'd been on a shelf for months and two of them have red and yellow dots on them. (Usually when I buy tires they are shiny, new looking). When I went back asking about the warranty he promised; he stated it was in brochure... it wasn't. I was, am, disappointed. more

I can't say enough. I brought my car into JiffyLube across the street from Nixon. I had taken my car to a JiffyLube in New Mexico to have the tires rotated and a check engine light checked. However, the JL did neither of those things. Went I explained this to the SLO JiffyLube the best they could offer me was to do it for $24, which was confusing because originally it was supposed to be just $10 for the tire rotation. I realize the SLO JL was not responsible for the NM JL mistake, but still. Anyway, Nixon did it all for free. Also, while I was there a customer came in that was not happy. Elmer took care of him. The funny thing was, was that the customer's problem was caused by misinformation about his car from someone else. Eitherway, Elmer took care of him. I always find that the best measure of a good business, is how they deal with dissatisfied customers. I wholeheartedly would recommend this business. more
