I received a brow/maintenance wax at NiteSpa. And Marjan was the amazing aesthetician who worked on me. She was wonderful, a total perfectionist, I've never been happier with my brows before. I have the kind of brows that NEVER can have an arch, but she kept working with them, until they finally did! Wonderful, cool place, very easy going. It's the kind of place where you go to get a treatment, and end up wanting to hang out allllll day! Great music, very friendly people. I would recommend NiteSpa to anyone! I love Nitespa. I never take the time to write reviews but after three years of amazing manis, pedis, facials, waxing and massages I feel it is time for me to share how wonderful Nitespa is. Every time I walk through the door, it is as though I have entered my best friend's living room. Completely unpretentious, yet hip, cool, comfortable and professional are some of the things that come to mind. Relaxing with a glass of cabernet while my feet get pampered, what could be better? I love nitespa!!! Where else can you get a pedi or massage late night? The space is adorable, a cute little bungalow that is girly but not too girly, done in pinks and browns. I first came to nitespa for a friend's birthday party. There were 8 of us and we all took turns getting manis, pedis, massages, and tarot readings. it was so much fun I kept coming back. The staff is hip, but unpretentious, and very accomodating. I've tried a little bit of everything and I really have no complaints. The facials leave my skin glowing, the waxing hurts a lot less than other places I've been, and the polish on my pedicures lasts for weeks. I will say that it is a LOT different than most spas, so if you are expecting a typical spa experience it may not be for you. It's very laid-back and intimate, so you may find yourself making friends with the person next to you at the pedi station (as I did last time I was there!) The staff is never rushed and is able to devote a lot of attention to clients. It really feels like you are at your cool girlfriend's house for beauty night! It's a great place to have a small party or to just unwind after work with a glass of wine and some pampering. Oh, yeah, did I mention they serve wine? more

Nite Spa is awesome!! Finally a spa in LA with zero attitude. You feel like you are in a cozy house with good music and even a glass of wine if you feel so inclined! My personal fave is the hydrating facial. Danielle is the best esthetician I have ever been too!! Be sure to call ahead so you can get her. I stumbled upon this little cottage spa by chance. The staff was very sweet and went out of their way to get me in for a last minute appt for a facial. It was very relaxing and the aesthetician Danielle took her time to do a great consultation and a super detailed facial. I later tried a deuxe pedicure and found it to be much better and very different from those factory type quickie places. Sure it was more expensive, but so worth it. Sometimes when I go out to eat I go to In N Out Burger; most of the time i go to a nicer place. The same with my spa services. nitespa is a one-of-a-kind place. it is a very special little spa that I go to for all of my beauty needs- I have gotten waxed, manicured and massaged and have always been stoked by my experience. It is in the busy hip section of Abbot Kinney and up until now they have always had a free parking lot in the back. The last time I went I was very disappointed that the parking lot is under construction and I could not find a parking spot anywhere. Go try out nitespa- my secret spot- but make sure you give yourself enuf time to park- until the city of la completes that new lot! Pros: unique place Cons: no parking more

I had a very intimate bachelorette party at Nitespa. The owner seemed to be drunk and was drinking when I made reservations and seemed to be drunk the night of our services. She had a camera crew in the small establishment during our services to promote the place, I felt very uncomfortable the entire time and a complete lack of regard to our comfort and satisfaction, the girls that performed the services were more accommodating but it didn't make up for what she did. The massage room has two tables but you can barely move around or get undressed and the pedicure wasn't worth the money! I was very disappointed in Nitespa especially considering the amount of money they charge. We didn't get a discount or gift or coupon or anything for her non professionalism, she didn't even act gracious. Thank heaven for this place. I love spa services, but I hate attitude - and this place has nothing but happiness and love within its walls. I feel really comfortable when I walk into Nitespa, and love that they always do whatever they can to accommodate last-minute appointments and specific requests. Heather's facials are especially delicious...I don't have to bring the makeup bag with me to cover up Facial Abuse. I really like their lemon water, too. Yum, yum. And getting really fantastic care and service for my money. xo, ladies. There's so many awesome Things about Nitespa. They're Open Late. They're Pet Friendly. There's friggin' parking, which is Amazing in Venice. The treatments are exceptional. I call it NITEMARE!! The staff was unprofessional! I went to get a couples massage with good intention, wanting to pamper my boyfriend but it just went horribly wrong! We could hear the staff from inside the massage room gossiping and giggling while they were doing nails in the front room!! It felt more like a hangout place for people to just sit around and have alcoholic beverages as they serve alcohol! The wood floor was creaking the whole time during the massage! I asked the therapist where we could hang our clothes and he said "anywhere"!! There wasn't a set up for us to put our belongings anywhere so we had to shove it in a pile in a corner! The room was too small for 2 massage beds and it was cold!!Definitely not good to be relaxed!! They are overpriced for what they do not deliver!! I feel like they are trying to squeeze in as many services in that little cottage when its just not how a spa is suppose to be set up! They should just have it as a nail shop or just a massage place! It doesn't work together because you end feeling frustrated especially when you want there to be silence when you are getting a massage! As the ad says..."seriously hip spa for an evening of lively self indulgence". I call it seriously expensive spa for pretentious people who think that is hip!!...Bottom line ..do not go there! Nitespa is excellent. My toes will never be touched by another non-hygenic, toxic fumed, cheapo salon again! For the last 15 years, I have monthly turned a blind's eye to the dirty and overused emery boards, the blue watered acetone, and the dead skin filled recycled water in the spa chairs at my local mani pedi parlor. No more! Once I had my first pedicure at Nitespa, I became hooked. My pedicures last longer, I am treated like a queen, and I can actually consider this treatment an "experience" instead of an errand. Let me not forget the insanely relaxing Esalen massages, the world class waxing and the soothing facials. Girls, we need to feel good. Our lives are better when we treat ourselves as we deserve. And thank you Nitespa for providing a lovely environment where I can actually relax and have fun, AFTER my long crazy day at work. I am new to the LA area and was nervous about finding a trustworthy wax girl. After all, she has to be a true confidant! After reading tons of reviews, I decided on NiteSpa. I loved the idea/concept ? normal people work. It seemed so fitting to keep the salon doors open until people could finish their hectic work day and settle in for a relaxing treatment. A bikini wax isn?t exactly relaxing, but Danielle made it as comfortable as possible. It was actually very tranquil and gave me time to rejuvenate before a night out on the town. I read great reviews on this website so I went here for a spa-style pedicure. Pedicurist was totally incompetent. The white lines on my french pedicure were uneven and smudged. Also, she put my feet in plastic bags with a rubberband around my ankle. I'm not sure what the point was, but the feeling was gross and my circulation was cut-off. Not to mention that the pedicure was $70 or $80 bucks. I am so embarrassed that I spent that much. Next time I am going to a cheap place where the job is better or I'll find a real spa. Having been to all the big name spas in LA, I was fortunate to stumble upon Nitespa while I was pedaling around Venice. Since then, I've had several massages, facials, waxes, manis & pedis--all completely first class service and results. I thought, perhaps I got lucky with the gals who were treating me. Nope--all of the professionals have been outstanding: knowledgeable, thorough, an eye for minute detail, cool/chill demeanor. I know, shocking.. but true. Do yourself a favor: grab your girlposse or guyposse or coed-posse and visit Nitespa. Take them up on the wine ;). Enjoy! The atmosphere is relaxed and the people are very cool and friendly, but make sure you go in there knowing exactly what you want, because they will attempt to smoothly sell you the most expensive massage, without mentioning how much more you might be spending. Both my man and I were inexperienced, and let the masseurs guide us, ignorant to the fact that we'd be stuck with a bigger bill than we planned. Nitespa is an oasis in the heart of Abbot-Kinney, and my favorite place to DJ! I also got my first facial there and it was a more enriching experience than I ever could have imagined. As a guy, I feel compelled to emphasize just how cool this place is to other guys who might think spas are for ladies only. This place does private parties! I spun for a bachelor party there and it was one of the best bachelor parties I've ever been to! Hostess Julia Lolita really knows how to throw a party -- no joke. She's a professional. If you have a date, bring her here and she'll be like putty in your hands. If you don't have a date, this is an awesome place to meet hip, beautiful girls. And if you haven't experienced spa treatments before, you'll be pleasantly surprised by how good it feels to get a facial, a massage, and a manicure. Especially here.
