Visited Nina International this past Wednesday to have Kitty do the Brazilian Blowout on my hair. I have longer hair and she was so meticulous. I don't think she missed one hair...

Best Stylist in San Diego 11/10/2010

I've been going to Nina's International Beauty for a few months and I absolutely love the service. My stylist, Raysheeda Blake is so creative and easy to talk to. I love to have looks that turn heads and Raysheeda helps take whats in my head and make it a reality. She is really professional which i love. She is always on time for her appointments and treats me as if I were a guest in her home. I've recommended her to my family and now me, my sister, AND my mom all get our hair done here! You should absolutely come check her out:) more

Nina's International Beauty Salon 11/6/2010

Nina International Beauty Salon is the first salon i've been to and i would say this experience was the best. They have great service and she and her staff are very nice. My family has known Nina for quite some time and i've heard nothing but good things about her. She does excellent on any hairstyle you want..just show the picture and its done. Another thing i like about this shop is she gets you in and out without doing a rush job. I would defiantly recommend this shop to all my friends. more

Wonderful 11/6/2010

My first time being at Ninas international Beauty salon, was a Wonderful experience. They were very nice, had very CLEAN restrooms, they gave great hair tips on how to stop breakage, and well they were just all around good people. My family had been going to them for years and they never had a problems so yea she and her staff do a very well job at making me feel welcome. I do think that if you want a good job done to you hair, you should come here im very glad i did =)) more

Nina is a one of a kind Stylist and Business Women. I have know Nina over 25 years. She started doing my hair back in the 90's, and to come back over 20 years later to get the same if not better treatment while in her shop. My hair has become soft and healthy again. On top of getting the best service in national city or san diego, you also get a very positive and gossip free atmosphere. If you are looking for a one and only Stylist you should be going to NINA INTERNATIONAL........ more

Great Experience 11/6/2010

I havent been going to Nina International for too long, BUT I have seen Nina's work in thee past which made my choice to have her do my hair! She is one of thee best in San Diego which I think is safe to say, when I get my hair done by Nina people ask me all thee time ""where did you get your hair done at?"" Or, ""who did your hair?"" Nina is not only gentle but she talks to you when she does your hair, some hair stylest either talk to their co-workers or talk on thee phone all day, which she does not do.She may get phone calls here and there but that's normal. The shop as a whole is also very comforting, all thee ladies ask you when you walk in if you've been helped or if you need any help which is nice because some people just let you sit there assuming that you've been helped. When getting your hair shampooed they're are very soft and you feel as if you hair is being well taken care of. I am pretty sure there are other hair salons that take good care of you as well to each is own but I would say all in all when thinking of a place to go to for your hair I would choose Nina International hands down, more

Brazillian Blowout! 10/30/2010

I have known Nina since I was in high school. Now for being of mixed heritage, I have two types of hair: frizzy and wavy curly. Out of all the salons I went to or tried to go to, none could understand just how complicated my hair was. Put it simply: these other salons did not have the services that would be beneficial for my hair. Nina, being of Japanese and African-American mix, understood my hair and how difficult it was for me growing up (on both my side and our parents side). She also understood how important hair is for African American women; how hair is everything for a women PERIOD. She makes us look good. And every time I walk out the of her salon, I feel 100% confident, radiant, and beautiful. I am now 22 years old and Nina just introduced me to the Brazilian Blowout. I must say....IT'S FANTASTIC! Ladies, to come out of the shower with straight hair and not have to worry about blow drying it or straightening it; it's a blessing! Not only that my hair has grown out SIGNIFICANTLY. What are you ladies waiting for!? GET IT DONE. It is a must have! Lastly, the staff is fantastic here. Nina's just doesn't greet you with a handshake, she greets you with a hug and a big smile. And her staff is fantastic. I always feel like I can talk about anything with them and they will listen and give me advice about my hair and my life. With Nina and her staff, you're not just a client, you're a friend as well. more

Phenomenal Women in a Phenomenal Salon 9/2/2010

Nina International Beauty is not a salon, it is a must do experience! From the time I walked in and was greeted by her kind receptionist, to the time I walked out and made my next appointment. First I endured an amazing Scalp Mask that was vibrant and awakening. Being under the dryer may be boring at any other oridnary salon, but at Nina International Beauty the magazines are popping with all her beautiful models and styles in them. Nina is a wonderful creator! Music dj'd by Nina's very own daughter LaNina, Wine, Relaxation, and Ambiance, LOL sounds like im at a spa doesnt it, but nope i was just getting my hair done! Although this was my first time getting my hair done at Nina International Beauty this will for sure not be my last, i have my second, third, and fourth appointment! If your wondering what I received that day it was a Brazillian Blowout and I had many compliments on it at work. They complimented on my hair silkiness, smoothness, and how runs through their fingers! See you next week Nina, for my next appointment! more

An amazing experience every time! 9/2/2010

I've known the Owner/Stylist/Operator of this salon since I was a teenager and her personable staff along with the many services they provide for their customers it's nothing short of Incredible! Recently I received a Keratin treatment known as the Brazilian Blowout and I am VERY happy with the results of the treatment. Nina answers every single question and never makes her clients feel like they are asking something silly. She and her staff are passionate about hair and maintain a very professional approach to what women want. more

Best Salon in National City 9/1/2010

My first time coming to the salon everyone there was very welcoming. Nina was the first person to introduce herself and right away I felt weight lifted off my shoulders.It is always difficult trying out a new salon because you never know what the outcome might be. I havent had the chance to get my hair done yet but just being able to be one of the ladies in her hair show, I am having a great time. Nina is a very nice lady and the other stylist just make it feel like one big family. I am very glad to have meet everyone. more

Nina is the hair extension queen of San Diego. Whatever the problem or quality of the hair she will make it look as smooth as butter. There is no type of hair that this woman can't handle. The salon has been here in National city for many years which shows that she is THE professional. Nina's International is here to stay. I wont have to look any further I will remain a client of Nina' International. more
