Dr. Newton is the best dentist I have ever been to; I've been a patient of hers for more than 10 years. She and her staff are super-friendly and kind, and take the terror out of dental visits. I have a lot of bad dental memories from childhood, but have so much confidence with Dr. Newton's staff that I visit worry-free. I've had crowns, fillings, cleanings, and pre/post work for a dental implant. Every one of the visits went great. The staff is enjoyable to chat with and the dental-work always goes smoothly. more

At Dr Newton's office, I had a couple of fillings done on my lower right. You used this new numbing method that just numbs the individual tooth. For someone who hates needles, I can't believe how pain-free it was. You're the best! more

""Rhonda Newton has been my trusted dentist for many years. I've benefitted from, not only her dental talents, but her state-of-the-art equipment (from night guard, to teeth whitening to made-in-the-office crowns that are completed during a single visit.) Dr. Newton's friendly demeanor and compassionate/skilled staff calm my nerves right away. I've also been treated by the other dentists in the office and have been very pleased with them, too. (Another perk is that I'm able to watch a movie with 'movie goggles' during dental procedures, which is a nice distraction.) In spite of having a good deal of dental work completed, I regularly receive compliments about my pretty teeth. This says a lot about my dentist's skills. Thank you, Rhonda!"" more

I am not one to say something about any Dentist office but since I have been to Dr. Rhonda Newton Dental officin Sammamish, I have to say ""Thank God for taking the fear out of going to the Dentist office."" From making the appointment to the end of my treatment, the experience was one of a kind. Amazing!!!!!!!! Extremely affordable rates, friendly personal, cozy atmosphere, top of the line equipment and even a head set that you can watch a DVD while they perform your treatment. All the staff treated me with the utmost courtesy. I have to give an ""Atta boy/girl"" to the following personal that made my experiance painless. Mr. Dan ""The man"", DR. Chase and Tiara. With thier help, I can SMILE A MILE. more

Dr. Newton did a beautiful job with the veneer on my front tooth. I can't believe how natural it looks and how well it matches my other teeth. Now I am not afraid to smile! more

First of all, your office, on the surface, is just another dentist in a strip mall, there are thousands of them; so why would I pick yours? My girlfriend referred me - she's been a patient there for 12 years. I'm sure no one likes going to the dentist, but I fall into that group of people that experience irrational anxiety when going to the dentist. more

Thank you Dr. Newton! 3/27/2011

I have been coming to Dr. Newton for over 15 years now since she bought this Sammamish practice. Even after moving to California I still come back because she and her staff make this former going-to-the-dentist phobic so relaxed and comfortable. They have taken the time to help explain my treatment options as my employer provided insurance has changed with the relocation. I love the fact that she is so involved in the community and have referred several friends and their families to her because I have seen first hand how good she is with children. The facility is very clean and I have noted that they use state of the art equipment for to enhance patient comfort and quality of service. I also like how easy they are to work with for scheduling and follow-up as my time is less flexible now that I have to squeeze my exams into business trips when I am in the area. Try Dr. Newton and you will soon be referring others. Thank you Dr. Newton and staff for making me feel good about my teeth again. more

100% isn't a high enough rating to give Dr Newton! 3/18/2011

I've been to Dr Newton now for over two years now, and I've never had a better dentist for myself and my family. I checked around the area and found her prices to be around the same as other dentists, but she came recommended by a friend, too, so after knowing that her prices were in line, my wife and I went in. Personality is important to me, and Rhonda puts you at ease and has a great sense of humor. People there are happy and upbeat. I like that a lot. But everythng she and her staff do, from the routine cleanings right on up to major dental work (I've had two crowns done there now, my wife has had 3) -- I tell ya, ""excellent"" isn't high enough praise to give Rhonda and her employees. All my kids and their spouses go there now, and even my 5 grandchildren. I hope she never retires! more

Great dentist office 10/1/2009

Our family (mom, dad, three young children) began going to this office when it became too difficult to get our kids to our family's old dentist in Bellevue because of the drive and our schedules. The staff and dentists are very friendly and knowledgable, and they honor our requests not to do radiographs (x-rays) on our children. As a veterinarian, I respect that they have us sign a waver for this, as I have to do the same thing when a client declines a service that could be considered neglectful (since you can find small cavities on x-rays). The entire staff works well with our children. Pros: great staff, easy scheduling Cons: none more

I would never refer anyone to Dr. Newton 5/16/2008

This is my first review anywhere. I went to see Dr. Newton and at first everything seemed very pleasant, however I do agree she overcharges and farms too much out. My whole experience was tainted and then terminated over one silly misunderstanding. They indicated I need two procedures done, told me the price and then had me sign a form indicating I knew how much the procedure would cost. It was too costly and I decided to postpone. Two months later one of the women called from the front desk to say I should get the procedure done because it was almost the end of the year and it was covered. Yippee, I took covered to mean ""paid for"" (unlikely I know, but I had a lot going on at the time). I had it done - 3 months later they sent me a bill for $900 + so I called to tell them the bill must be a mistake. They reminded me that I had agreed to the cost. I couldn't remember (hey, I'm 58) so asked them to send me a copy. They did, I realized I had screwed up, there was no way out. Within two days of receiving that information and before I could call to work out payments, they turned me over to collection and thank you very much it is now on my credit report. Clearly, they weren't interested in my patronage even though there were no previous issues. I guess immediate payment of $900 was worth more than a lifetime relationship (and payments). I hope she is a better dentist than she is a business woman or maybe she should just fire her bookkeeper. I now have a personable, caring dentist at the top of the medical dental bldg in Seattle. I get to look all over Seattle while they work on my teeth. An aside, while other dentists offer free whitenings, she offered toothbrushes and now a $25.00 gas card. Proof of either greed or bad business. Pros: close to home Cons: nice staff more

Expensive, refers root canals out, mostly cosmetic dentist 2/20/2008

We went to see Rhonda after reading an article about her use of high tech a few years ago so we shouldn't have been surprised that our visits felt ""mechanical"". Her fees are about 40% higher then other dentists in the area as well and both for my husband and my best friend she referred them out for pretty straight forward root canals. (my dentist does them) and the combined bill was over $2500. Pros: free parking, lots of staff to help bill, cheerful dentist Cons: expensive, refers out when in pain, oblivious to dental fears more
