After using New Age for about 6 months for a pick-up laundry service. I have come to expect only the best service from them!\r \r Scheduling and appointment changes have been flexable and easy. The owner himself comes to pick up the laundry and handles all of our special requests (folding preference, softener, etc.) and the laundry comes back well packaged and folded. \r \r I would recommend New Age to anyone! I've been knowing these people since they were on 21st ave. The owners(husband &wife) are superb people who not only know your name but also deliver at the drop of a hat and pick up. My roommates and I have since moved out of the neighborhood and continue to do biz w/ them because of their outstanding commitment to making their customers happy. Not only does he know us all by name, but he even offered to loan us his truck when we had to move..how many people who you do biz w/ offer something like that? I recommend them highly and of course they are only human so if you have a problem w/ their services, I would recommend speaking to them directly!!! not just posting some comment because you are having a bad day and had a bad encounter w/ one of their employees..I imagine they don't even know about the problem this young lady had with her items... I took some clothes to this place to be laundered and pressed and had to take some pants back because they were dirtier than when i took them there. Not only was she not apologetic, when a friend went to pick them up, she said she could not find them. Over the phone, I told her my name and even the brand of pants I had dropped off and she was POSTIVE they weren't there. When I showed up at the store (after having to leave work because they close earlier than they advertise) to figure all of this out, she promptly produces them, saying she thought they were men's pants (they are from a women's only clothing store). She was very unapologetic even when she thought she had misplaced them. It never occurred to her to look in the back because I didn't tell her they were ""do over"" instead of ""first time around"" pants. It was just WAY too much of a hassle to get a pair of pants laundered and pressed....and they STILL were not clean or neatly pressed. I was turned off by her nonchalant and unapologetic attitude AND the terrible job they did. it should not be that big of a hassle to get your clothes cleaned. Pros: near my apartment Cons: terrible customer service and laundering service more
