Dr Connie Jones is amazing! 5/6/2014

Dr Connie Jones is the most compassionate and thorough Veterinarian I have known in my many years of having pets. \r She has proven to me and to everyone I have recommended to her that she is a brilliant diagnostician. Highly recommend!! 12/7/2010

I have used Neuse River Vet Hospital for several years, both large and small animal. Not only are the doctors extremely knowledgeable, they have a wonderful bed-side manner. They genuinely care about their patients and clients. I travel from Raleigh to have my pets treated at NRVH. The staff is also great...my pets love going there. Customer service is excellent. I highly recommend this as a top vet hospital!!! more

You're kidding, right? 11/23/2010

I recently moved to North Carolina and brought my dog's paperwork from her previous vet with us. The paperwork shows her complete history and the fact that she is on Sentinel. Since her medicine ran out this month, I walked in to Neuse River vet, with my paperwork, and requested a new prescription. The vet, not clerk, glanced at it and told me she couldn't accept it, I would need to have the same chart faxed. Called the previous vet and they don't even have a fax machine but made a call to the vet and verbally told them the info. A few hours later, I returned to the vet to pick it up and the same woman told me she couldn't accept it because she didn't know who they talked to and it had to be in writing. The same writing that I was holding in my hand. She then added it was just NC law. Guess I moved to a state which doesn't require common sense for advanced degrees. And no, I'm not a Yankee, I came from Alabama. I am pleased to know the level of care extended by these people p more

Excellent Veterinary Practice 7/23/2010

I have been a customer of Neuse River Veterinary Hospital for 9 years. The level of expertise is beyond what I have seen anywhere in the state. The compassion, clinical expertise, and client teaching is above par. Vets can only heal as much as we -the owners are willing to compy with what is best for our pets, not just in an emergency- but on a daily basis, such as exercise, healthy diet, and socialization (behavioral support). I have been there during jouyful times and they have been with me during the dark time of letting a loved family member go. Bless Neuse River, Drs Liz and Jones... Nellie and the techs and the great ... My Labrador Retrievers thank you too! more

Did not Help 6/27/2008

My cat have been sick and I knew it was more than hair balls. My cat was taken to Neuse River Vet. It cost me 287.00 and still my cat is sick. They told my husband to get medicine at the Pet Smart. My cat's white count is up and all this office did was take xrays and draw blood. When the doctor there found out that we could not pay the bill in full, she said why did you not tell me this before. First of all who knows what the bill is going to be before an animal is checked out. This is a vet I have used for years. It started out with only the Meyer brothers and they were wonderful and understanding when it was only the two of them, but now that the practice have gotten so big it is like they do not care for the owners and their pets. I am so very disappointed in this practice. I will not be taking any of my animals back to them. more

Great Vet 6/3/2008

I have used Neuse River Veterinary Hosp for 4 years now. I found out how great they were when I had a dog who had problems. They worked with me and treated her like one of their own. I have 2 cats now and they have always been there for advice and for an emergency. The Doctors and staff are top notch. They have a Equine center there although I do not own horses it is impressive to know they are equipped for horse owners. more
