I had no choice but to this store because I dont have the size I need at Nordstrom. The lady at the shoe dept. was very arrogant and snobbish. I was buying ugg boots as a gift. They are not helpful and just stand there staring at shoppers arrogantly. When she knew it was a gift, she sarcastically said ""Great, at least I dont have to take it off the box and let you try it"" And I gave my Visa card to pay, then she said ""Oh well, we only accept AMEX or cash"" in a rude and intimidating manner with an arrogant face. So I said ""Here's my Amex gold card"" giving the same arrogant face she gave me.. After that, it was my first and last visit at that store.... Worst customer service! more

I was in the store recently visiting from NYC with a friend who knew people at the store. We went upstairs to third floor to do some serious damage but between the arrogant pr woman, the rude saleswoman who were gossiping by the elevator we couldnt get any customer service! What ashame....oh well we went and spent our $ somewhere else. They obviously were not interested in having us as customers. more

While this store can be rather pricey, it is still one of my favorite places to shop (especially when I am looking for something special). I have always found the sales staff extremely helpful and have no complaints about the customer service. It would be helpful, however, if you were able to use more credit card options. Otherwise, no complaints. more

So, I wanted a pair of Tory Burch 'Reva' flats. Sadly, my faovrite store Nordstrom's did not have the pair I wanted (Black/Gold) in a 9, so I'd decided to try Neiman Marcus, seeing as they carry Tory Burch. When I first walked in, I was greeted by an annoying cosmetic associate, who after I politely refused her service, ""hmpphhff""at me and shot me a dirty look. Then, I walked to shoe's and I can honestly say that this was the WORST service I've ever recieved. I have shopped on Fifth Avenue, at Bendels', Bergdorfs and Barney's, and never recieved such a snobbish sales associate. She was aggorant, had me waiting for her service for 20, and when I told her I only had my Mastercard on me, she snidely commented ""that I can presume you wouldn't have an Amex... or that much cash on you."" I don't have enough money? Not only was I going to buy the Reva's, but a quilted pair of Chanel flats! After, learning that they didn't have my size in the color combo I wanted in the Reva's, I then left, not worrying about buying the Chanel flats at this point. Forget this department store, unless you enjoy the most pig-headed sales associates. Pros: great selection of clothing Cons: horrible service, payment methods more

Went in to Neiman's on one of the last days of their terrific end of season sale. Didn't expect much to be left. I found this great pair of designer sandals, at a pretty good price. Was approached by a salesperson who asked the usual questions, but then went above and beyond my expectations! His name is Steven Shuster, Men's Store, and he is my new favorite person in the world. Seriously. Asked if we wanted coffee or water, got the merchandise for me, then proceeded to get me an even better price on my sandals! Who could ask for anything better than that? The man of the year! more

I like how Neiman Marcus has nice items. They have the brands i like and have them neatly organized and so on. When i was there i went to purchase a pair of shoes that I liked, When i went to ask for a size the man told me I would have to wait. I sat and waited around a few minutes to see this man approach other people and help them while I sat there. Now I do not know if this is because I looked young or not but I recieved no help whatsoever. Others game and went and even were offered water. When i realized all of this I went to ask someone for help they said they would be right with me and never showed up. Insetead I saw her talking to a Co-worker(friend). The other thing is that none of the people will ask you if you need any help or anything. Most of the employees there think they are to good and are very snobbish. Fortunately I have the main stores like Gucci, Prada, Polo, Versace around my area so I will never return to this store again. Pros: Nice Stuff, Organized Cons: Horrible Customer Service!! more

I have always think that since NM is a upscale department store, then the customer service must be great, but i was wrong. I have recently purchased a bag that was worth over $600. they would only accept American Express, Diner Club and Personal Checks...which i didn' t understand why they are doing that. they would've lose alot of customers, not everyone has an american express, diner club or carry a check book with him/her. Cons: Poor Customer service more

Best selection of petite clothing in Philadelphia area, selection as good as New York, better than Bergdorf Goodman's (owned by Neiman Marcaus), where petites are not even on the menu. more

Neiman Marcus is one of my favorite stores to shop in. I love fashion and love to shop for great looking clothes. I have purchased many items from Neiman's and will continue to do so in the future. However the service level is real low. There are a handful of people who are extremely friendly but on the flip side there are too many who are not. Some actually act like we are disturbing their day. Neiman's is on the high end of good quality and excellent value. What it needs to do is upstep it's customer service. Hire people who have a personality. Pros: SELECTION, CLEANINESS, ATMOSPHERE Cons: CUSTOMER SERVICE, SLIGHTLY OVER PRICED more
