At 8AM, Brian, the salesman, arrived to review the details of the install. I was not expecting this, but was pleased to see this project was important to him. At 8:15, the "squad of four" arrived, reviewed the plan with Brian/me, and started to tear out the old system. They laid down drop cloths and were very careful in hauling out the old equipment, bringing in the new. Each tech. had a specialty, yet they were always helping the other techs when needed. They answered any questions I had (I can be nosey) and yet never stopped working. They were elbow to elbow, working on this project; the project just flowed flawlessly. The metal fabricator did any outstanding job, matching up the old with the new. Gas and water piping was square and level; I was very pleased. The heating system was fine tuned, and the job was done. I was given a run thru of how to adjust the water heater, etc. so when they left (5PM) I was comfortable with the systems operation. I am a fussy, detailed person. Over the years, I have done my own maintenance, upgrades, etc, so when I hire someone, I expect the best. And that's what I got! The quote was a little pricey, but I researched how this company did business, especially service support, so I was comfortable with hiring them. I'm still baffled how they got the job done in one day! more

Outstanding service man. very friendly and professional. he represented National refrigeration extremely well. he answered questions,explained contract options and was very knowable about questions i asked. as your representative i would give him 5 stars out of 5.he has earned my continuing business when ever i need repairs etc on my HVAV i am happy i chose national. more

The AC units need more attention than I knew, and he helped me understand the problem--he sorted out the issue, and persevered as further troubles arose. About 7 years ago we purchased a geothermal heating & cooling system for our home in Saunderstown, RI. Initially, service was provided by the company that installed the system. Unfortunately, about three years ago they went out of business. We searched for a geothermal system service organization. The first one we tried was awful...their prices were very high, and their work actually led to more problems. Recently the system went down during an extremely cold spell (14 F). I found national through the web. They came the very net morning, and after less than a half hour Jared, whose work process was very well organized, discovered a loose wire. After properly terminating the broken end, and re-connecting it, the system resumed fully operational status. The bill ....beyond the cost of a regular service call even though we were NOT a regular customer and he had come to our home ASAP...was $30. Needless to say my wife and I were thrilled that the system was now working properly, that Jared really "knows" geothermal systems, and that National will now perform regular annual system maintenance for us each fall. more

We are newly moved into our new home. Thanks to Doreen in the office she suggested we wait until next year to start a service contract as we are under warranty. Of course it was not until 6:30pm that we realized the heat wasn't working. I expected a long wait as we were not customers. In just over an hour Rito arrived are carefully assessed the situation and discovered the cause of our problem. He also checked our fireplace and hot water heater. Rito was kind and very professional. I was fully prepared for a bill that I would pay and deal with the builder later on. Rito assured us we were on warranty and he would forward the bill directly to the builder. Needless to say we are signing up for a contract with this wonderful company. more

Sean replaced my condensor and coil on Monday July 10, 2017. He was professional, knowledgable and consensus. Both he and David arrived on a timely basis and worked all day to complete the installation. more

Our HVAC System was recently serviced, for the summer season, by Sean Donahue, a service pro at National Refrigeration, Warwick, Rhode Island. Sean was very thorough in all aspects and areas of the service. He took the time to explain what he was doing and answered all our questions, we being first time owners of an HVAC system. We discussed what we can do to to be pro-active in the efficient running of the system as well as what to look for to recognize any problems. He also gave us suggestions as to how to protect the outside unit that is part of the system. Sean is very knowledgeable and familiar with the Carrier system installed in our condo. We were very satisfied with the visit and service completed by Sean. He confirmed the value of being a member of the "Comfort Club" offered by the Company, at a very reasonable price. We lost our AC during a heat wave. National Refrigeration scheduled our service promptly. Their technician Sean arrived on time and was extremely courteous. The temperature in the attic was 134 degrees. Sean, somehow, remained diligent and dedicated to solving the problem and eventually resolved the issue.
