mutts catered an event for our company last friday aug.19,2011.randy the owner helped set up and everything went perfect.the food was \r great and the service and attention to detail was second to none.the presentation and extras were much appreciated and as usual there was more food than could be eaten.mutts in greer does a great job in catering we have used them probably 20 times in the last five years they are our number one go to food service restaurant when we need great food,service,and presentation.randy you and your staff did another bang up job for our event which was for 115 people.thank you more

We hired Mutts to cater my daughter's wedding reception...Huge Mistake!! They were 2 hours late getting to the venue and setting up, after we placed 4 calls inquiring where they were. We delayed the ceremony more than 20 minutes and they finally arrived to set up 20 minutes after the ceremony took place. They brought cheap Styrofoam plates & cups with their logo after being told we did not want to use their paper products. If the service wasn't bad enough they packed up everything after about an hour, including the sweet tea & lemonade so our guests had nothing to drink. When told we were very unhappy & were willing to pay only half the bill until I spoke with the manager the next day, the moron they had ""serving"" call his manager to come back to our venue. The manager then tried to blame the bride, stating she changed the time of the reception...TOTALLY NOT TRUE!!! The manager was unable to provide any proof of the change as his wife who had taken the message could not remember with whom she had spoken to about the alleged time change. The food was mediocre at best, but the service was horrendous. It is obvious these folks have absolutely NO concept of customer service and all they care about is turning a buck. My daughter's reception was ruined when she was pulled from her guests to argue with the manager for over 20 minutes. Against my better judgment, we paid the bill in full to get rid of this jerk. \r \r Please take heart & NEVER consider this place for any catering job unless you're dead set on a hillbilly hoe-down with pork & beans from a can served up with some tasteless mac & cheese! And remember to bring your own drinks because theirs won't be sticking around!!\r more

6:00pm on a Saturday night just before Christmas. Nine of the 14 ordered ribs. They were OUT of ribs! How wonderfull! A rib place with no ribs. It'll be a while before we go back. more

They have the best bbq i have ever had. I have been to many other bbq places and none compares to theres. I have never had a bad experience there and the food is so wonderful. The portion sizes are huge - come hungry!!! Wonderful food and portion size for the small price. The place is very casual and family oriented. The staff is always very friendly and will get whatever you need anything you need. We also ordered take out for a fourth of july party one year and everyone there was truly impressed. The service was fast and the food even better. Sweet potato crunch is fabulous!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: a lot of food, friendly service, fast Cons: not enough locations more

I was introduced to Mutts BBQ years ago when I worked in Greer and the company used them to cater our Christmas party. I have been hooked ever since! There is nothing like their smoked pork and equally delicious sauces anywhere! I have just recently moved back from living in the suburbs of Chicago, and I searched the whole 5 1/2 years I was there for BBQ as good as Mutts' BBQ. Sadly, I never was able to find a restaurant that came anywhere CLOSE to Mutts' BBQ! The good news is, I am now living back in the area and plan on taking my husband to get some of the BBQ that I, and my daughter, have been bragging on all of these years as soon as possible! \r \r For those who are looking for vegan or diet food, go somewhere else, but if you are looking for the BEST BBQ North AND South of the Mason/Dixon Line, you HAVE to go to Mutts! No, it is not ""fine dining"", but take it from someone who has had her share of ""fine dining"" at ""world renouned"" restaurants, if you want to eat some of the best food to ever cross your lips, and dribble down your shirt...go to Mutts! Pros: Great BBQ and sides, great value Cons: There is not one in Piedmont, yet...hint hint more

BBQ pork was lean, but apparently they poured the grease all over the meat. Takeout order was terribly greasy when refrigerated. more
