Steer clear of Muller Toyota!! Run don't walk.. This review is a gift to save you aggravation! I made a appointment for a simple Warranty enhancement item after receiving the notice in the mail. I gave them all the information ahead of time before the appointment. I brought the car in and asked politely to please only do the covered warranty enhancement and don't even touch anything else on the car as I was not interested in a complimentary inspection of the car, it was just service elsewhere. They came back to me after waiting and said they don't have the part, they have to order it. This is ridiculous because I asked before the appointment if they were familiar with the warranty enhancements as they should be as I am sure thousands of customer's received the mailing, they never indicated it would take two visits which is ridiculous for a small piece of plastic part to be replaced. I called Toyota headquarter which confirmed most dealers do this in one appointment, and since I only need the basic part it should have been done. I asked them to get me to another dealer and they did. I now have to go back to another dealer for a small piece of plastic that should only take five minutes to repair. I can't even imagine why anyone would want to do business with them, if the hairs go up on the back of your neck, you know you are are Muller Toyota!! more

I also got a great deal on my new 4Runner. I suspect other reviewers want cars given away to them. If you're looking for a handout, don't go to a car dealer... any car dealer. more

I just wanted to put in the good word for Muller Toyota. I don't understand some of the ignorant comments I read on here, but I have never had a bad experience at Muller, I have always been greated and received warmly. I always end up with a good deal. And I always leave happy. My salesperson has never left the dealership after 15 years. That alone speaks volumes about a car dealership. These people want to make you a good deal and want you to be happy. If you can't work with them to buy a car, then I don't believe you can afford a Toyota in the first place. more

I don't understand the negative comments on here. I have been doing business with Muller Toyota for over 20 years and they are the most professional group of people in the automotive business in New Jersey. Maybe these people just don't know how to buy cars, but there is no reason to go waste a salesperson's time pricing out a vehicle if you aren't going to make a decision to buy it. Salespeople only make money when they sell a car. Also, anyone buying a Hybrid from a Toyota dealer should know that they are going to pay a premium because they are in demand. If you don't want to pay the premium, you need to go buy a Ford. Muller Toyota has serviced and sold my family cars and trucks for 20 years, and I am a difficult buyer. I have never had a problem and I have created a relationship with the same salesperson over the last 20 years. What other dealership can say that?! I would beware buying anywhere else!!! more

Buyer Beware!! 7/1/2009

attempted to buy a new (2009/2010) Camry Hybrid. They had the car in stock - we took it for a test ride and got very close to the price we were willing to pay around $22000 (base model - after discounts) -we also have a "clunker" that qualifies for the government trade in program. I told the salesman we like the car and the price was "close" but we needed a little time to think it over - he immediately asked the "Sales Manager" to come over. The Sales Manager insisted the prices was the best they could do - I said OK, I understand and proceeded to leave - the Sales Manager then proceeded to berate me and then bate me into an discussion about my knowledge of prices, etc. etc. Needless to say I took the bate and argued with the Sales Manager and we did not buy the car. I've read other posts about Muller and they confirm my experience - buyer beware!! more

They are rude sarcastic nasty people 5/24/2008

I bought a 2008 Prius. They slyly added $800 to the MSRP without telling me. I didnt realize it until the next day when I pulled the sticker out of my glovebox. When I called Bob Leonard, he was exremely sarcastic and rude, telling me I should be more responsible next time, and that he couldnt' do anything for me. Next time, I WILL be more responsible by staying far away from this dealer! more

The best toyota dealership in NJ 8/11/2005

These guys are a hike from almost everywhere but they are well worth it. The service department is great, a bunch of honet guys. The service lounge has a Wifi connection and they also have tv, coffe, kids play area. They will let you test drive cars while your car is being serviced, they have loaner cars. They are the best car dealership to bring your toyota to for service, and I HATE car dealerships. more
