If you have, be prepared to go to small claims court to get your security deposit back. We did and judgement was in our favor. They disregarded our tenant rights, lied in their statements of facts, and were very unprofessional throughout the process. Our decision to take them to court was based on principal, but the award did give us satisfaction. If you already rented from them, look into CA Dept of Consumer Affairs and the CA Civil Code Section 1950.5 then take them to small claims court if you dispute any or all charges against your security deposit. With the attitude shown during this process, we don't believe they will change their business ethics or business practices.
