Im really glad that we overlooked the reviews and went ahead and rented from them. We lived in a house we rented from MTM for about 18 months and they were amazing. Never had a single problem. I think those who have written poor reviews were probably breaking their lease agreement in some way. We just received our deposit and not a penny was deducted. Its so sad that more people don't post their positive experiences so all you see are the few that didn't have a good experience. Also, Marv was awesome, I don't understand how someone couldn't like him. He was always so kind and personable. As was Cricket. My only regret was not being able to find a new house with MTM. more

Just because you have been engaged in business for a time, communication should be at the top of the list as far as professional way to do business. Whether it be by telephone or by email, These communications should be returned after receiving requests for verifications and for keeping the dialogue between two business partners in a two way fashion open to responses. At first I was happy with MTM, but now I am not special to them any more and the honeymoon is over and it is beginning to show. It is sad because I really do want to have the same professional business relationship, but I don't want to have to feel as though I am bothering them to do their job. There are a lot of companies that would love to court my business. I guess I will have to find out who wants to be in business with me. more

If you have, be prepared to go to small claims court to get your security deposit back. We did and judgement was in our favor. They disregarded our tenant rights, lied in their statements of facts, and were very unprofessional throughout the process. Our decision to take them to court was based on principal, but the award did give us satisfaction. If you already rented from them, look into CA Dept of Consumer Affairs and the CA Civil Code Section 1950.5 then take them to small claims court if you dispute any or all charges against your security deposit. With the attitude shown during this process, we don't believe they will change their business ethics or business practices. more

Do NOT use MTM Property Managment...under any circumstances!!! We used them and only lasted a month in the house before we could not stand them anymore and we moved. They broke into our house in the middle of the night and destroyed our personal property. They charged us fines for things that we did not do. They lied to us many times...saying the house had things that it did not. They NEVER return your phone calls. Mary (one of the employees) is Hitlers long lost sister. more

do NOT rent with MTM. they violate California tenants rights and show blatant disregard for tenant personal safety. do not trust this company. they charge for normal wear and tear and create new issues long after walk through is over. they fail to respond to concerns and tell you off when they get around to responding.
