I am sadden to write this review, but I don't want anyone else to go through what our family went through. Our beloved Father passed away and when we went to Mt. Carmel Funeral Home on Zaragoza Road, I thought I was buying a car. Jaime was very unprofessional. No emotion whatsoever. He did not care about our pain, he just wanted to sell us a funeral. I understand it's a business, but really? No emotion? No feelings?
Everything we picked was done wrong. Music never played and according to them, it was playing all the time. No one could hear it. When we mentioned this, they pumped the volume up so high, we could barely hear each other. The video was late 3 hours. Stephanie, the receptionist, was rude and treated us with disrespect EVERY TIME we asked her for info. I mentioned that to her, she looked at me and continued with her rudeness.
Julian thinks funerals are a show. He thinks we are all there for entertainment purposes. Very, very unprofessional. I told him that we were going to complain about the services and he said ""forget the complaints. Who cares!"" And that sums it up. That is the attitude of everyone at Mt. Carmel Funeral Home on Zaragoza Road.
If you visit this place it is because you are going through a very sad phase in your life. Take my advise, go somewhere else. The pain and suffering they cause is really extreme. Your loved one deserves much better.
