Mr Handyman

Mr. Handyman hung the curtain rods in the living room in the house and it was the first time I used them. Everything turned out excellent--it was very good. He just did good work and was very professional and on time. The price was very good for what he did. more

Most recently we hired Mr. Handyman to hang some wall speakers, as well as a flat screen TV in our home and Jimmy, the person who came out, was extremely professional. I really admired that he listened to my husband when he had a recommendation on some of the repairs that he was doing. Instead of paying for more drywall to use while patching up the holes of the speakers that were left behind, my husband suggested that Jimmy use the cut-outs of the drywall to patch up the holes and Jimmy was very responsive and went along with my husband's suggestion. If you're going to use Mr. Handyman, I would make a list of things you need done because there's really no other company in the area that will do little odd jobs for you and it's great that they fix big and small jobs for you in one fell swoop. We will definitely be using Mr. Handyman in the future for repairs around the house and would recommend them to anyone. more

I called Mr. Handyman the evening before and needed someone ASAP. They asked how about the next day and the guy showed up on time within a two- to three-hour window. He was very helpful and met my needs, and the work he did took less than an hour--so I just paid an initial one-hour fee and that was great. I asked him to hang a mirror and a couple other pictures. I had surfed the internet to find mirror hangers and saw Mr. Handyman. I also saw other things they do and might need them for more work. The handyman who came was friendly and knowledgeable. I watched him as he measured to make sure everything was hung evenly. The price was OK. I had compared them to my daughter's picture hanger and what it cost her. I think I paid a little more than my daughter. I didn't think the price was going to be that high. But, it really was worth it because I needed it professionally hung. more

Mr. Handyman did quite a bit of stuff for me. On the outside, they did power washing. There were a number of doors that needed adjustments. Inside the house, they did some painting and work on a ceiling that needed to be repaired. In the bathroom, there was a trip lever that needed to be placed on the floor. They installed a glass door for me and took care of some plumbing issues--both major and minor. Everything went remarkably well, I had no callbacks and everything is working beautifully. They were the most professional workmen I have ever used and I have owned my house for over 20 years. I would recommend them to anyone, no matter how big or small the job is. more

Everything was great, they were prompt and helped me fix my faucet. They cleaned up after themselves and were in and out in no time. I will be calling them again! more

We've used Mr. Handyman about 7 times. They've done electrical work, plumbing, mortar/masonry work, general putting furniture together for us, cleaning our gutters. There was one guy that we weren't particularly thrilled with. When we told Kevin that, not only did he respond personally, he sent someone out at no expense to do the rework. When they say they guarantee their work, they really mean it. All of the light fixtures in our house were really old so they came and replaced all of the light fixtures. They were able to replace different kinds. They replaced one with a fan, and replaced another with an LED flushout. They provided all around expertise and we have yet to encounter something they didn't know. They repainted our mortar. I'm 9 months pregnant, and before my husband could move down, they helped put furniture together for us. They did some plumbing work -- reversing hot and cold water. Even when he came out to clean our gutters, Stephan took time to hammer in all the nails that were coming out and recaulked everything. They go the extra mile to make sure everything is satisfactory. Even when our shower drain was clogged, they were coming out anyway for something else, and they took care of the clog. Not only are their servicemen professional, they're also just genuinely nice to have around. We have our favorites. I was alone with my one year old daughter, and they're people you feel comfortable having in your home. They show up in uniform and do what they're supposed to do. They're not dilly-dallying; they're very efficient. If you have a bunch of little things you need done, you can trust they will get everything done in a timely manner. When it comes down to it, no matter what goes wrong in our house, we know we can call Mr. Handyman and they'll take care of it. So far I have used Mr. Handyman once. Setting the appointment was easy, and I was able to see someone quickly. The prices were good, a little high, but worth the fast response. The handyman who came did some spackling work and installed a door. He was very professional and answered all of my questions. The service was quick and dependable. He did everything that I needed. I had seen a promotion for Mr. Handyman's services on Angie's List. The deal was a discount for three hours worth of work, and if the work didn't require all three of the hours they would credit it back to my account. So I took the promotion and hired Mr. Handyman to re-caulk the windows in my home. Setting up the appointment and dealing with them on the phone and online was very easy. The technicians that came for the appointment were on time and professional. They only took about an hour and a half to complete the job. I was happy with the work, and that I had some credit left over. They did exactly what they said they would do in the promotion, and credited my account right away with the leftover time. At first, I was apprehensive about Mr. Handyman, because I didn't know about the company, but on a reviews page it was highly recommended. I figured that if the people in the community recommend the company, I should give it a call. I made an appointment and the gentleman came early, which was fine with me. I explained the work I wanted and the gentleman knew exactly what I wanted and did it the way I wanted. I had purchased a condominium and the dryer vent was located inside the wall and had no idea the lint was going inside the wall. I pulled out the dryer and notice I couldn't reach the connection, so I needed someone to come out. He cut a hole in the wall and refitted it together, painted the wall and everything looks like it was done right the first time around. I highly recommend Mr. Handyman. At least the man who came was very good, knowledgeable (as far as the questions he answered), and was eager to work on other things as long as I called to schedule in the future.
