Mr. Handyman

I heard about Mr. Handyman of Huntsville from a commercial. I hired them to replaced the wood on my deck and it looks wonderful; I am happy with the results. The technicians take pride in their work; and they are always on time. more

I called them to undo and redo a complete mess another handyman did on my property. I was in a bind because it needed to be finished by today. They arrived on time and worked really hard. From what I've been dealing with, it was a pleasure to finally have someone doing things right. If you want things done cheap, you end up paying twice like I did. I will call them first next time! He did an excellent job. No complaints at all. And it was completed on time. :) more

The guy that came out to our home from Mr. Handyman of Huntsville was very friendly and good with what we had him do. The thing that I really liked that was probably the most important to me though was that he was very time efficient. You could tell he was not trying to milk the clock at all. He got in and got what he needed to done and then was on his way with everything fixed. I was very impressed and would not hesitate to call these guys again in the future. more

What I liked most about the guy from Mr. Handyman of Huntsville is that he was a true professional. He showed up right on time just like he said he would and then had me show him where everything that I wanted done was. He explained to me what he was going to do just that I would be on the same page which I really appreciated. He did his work in a very efficient manner and you could tell that he took pride in what he does. The quality of the work that he did for me was absolutely incredible and I could not be happier with how it all turned out. The price was very fair and I would definitely use these guys again. more

Mr. Handyman of Huntsville came in and moved some book cases and then they moved them back when the work was done. I'm not very likely to recommend people in the first place but I'll tell you why I probably wound't recommend them either, the price was pretty high and I did it because of a scheduling issue that I had but I would not tell people to spend that extra money. more

I had a laundry list of things that I wanted the guys from Mr. Handyman of Huntsville to take care of and they were more than willing to accommodate me. The guy that the sent out was very professional and did the work in a very timely and efficient manner. I was surprised to see that he was able to handle everything on his own. The work he did was of very high quality and he took care of everything on my list which was great. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone who needs some work done around their home. more

Mr. Handyman did a good job replacing the baseboards under my gutters that were rotted out on the front and back of my house. He was very polite and on time. It was my first time using the company and all I can say is that he did a good job and it was very timely. I would use them again. more

Mr. Handyman of Huntsville is a company that I am happy with at the moment. The job they did for me however was not carried out perfectly. I contacted them to have some siding cleaned and the employee who came missed cleaning a portion of it. This I felt was quite unsatisfactory. Their price was alright, he was here for just over two hours and the bill I got was for 255 dollars. I would go back to Mr. Handyman however as I think they are a reliable company! more

I don't know how to rate Mr. Handyman of Huntsville because I'm having a dispute with them so I'm not sure yet. One thing was that they had a rental machine that I didn't know about that they used and apparently the machine was a rental that they owned. They used it and did a nice job and I said, how come you didn't tell me you were going to use that machine ahead of time instead of charging the $50 rental fee? If you have a tree service, you should have the tools you need instead of charging me for the rental fee. That was one thing, and I think they should have told me about the charge ahead of time, before they used it. The other thing was that they said they did the job faster by using the rotary, it's a pressure washing device and they said it would have taken several hours more to do it without it but that's not true 'cause I had someone else do it a few years ago and it only took a couple of hours. So, that estimate also wasn't accurate. The other thing was, there was some damage to the outside of the garage door and my wife said, maybe they damaged it with the machine they used but they said it was already damaged beforehand. I can't dispute that cause I wasn't watching them do the work. Anyway, the owner of the company called me and said it was old damage, so, who knows. Whether I would recommend someone else use the service, I'm not sure. I'm skeptical enough so I probably won't have them do the work to fix the damage on the garage door. I don't like people saying is going to be a certain price and then saying it's extra $50 for rental of equipment. I just wish they would have told me ahead of time. RESPONSE FROM Mr. Handyman of Huntsville: Mr. Foster scheduled a driveway to be pressure wash and to make the service quicker we used a scrubber attachment. This attachment shortens the amount of time, which also saves the customer money. If we had just used the pressure washer the job would have taken at least 2 too 3 more hours to complete the service, costing Mr. Foster more than the $50.00 in equipment rental. The equipment was our equipment, however we charge for the use of the equipment, 1 using the equipment saves time which is money, 2 the up keep on the equipment is an expense that we need to cover when we use the equipment. The damage discovered by Mrs. Foster was damage that was existing. She sent pictures of what was damaged and from that, I could tell that it was existing. I explained that I will return back out to look @ the damage in person, however haven't got there as of yet. I will make a trip out to review the damage and make a decision from there. more

Mr. Handyman is an excellent service. They're always on time, professional, courteous and they actually know what they're doing. Most recently, they did some plumbing work in the bathroom. The guy showed up on time and was done with the job within two hours. He fixed the problem and he cleaned up after himself. more

I was really impressed with the amount of confidence the guy from Mr. Handyman of Huntsville had when doing his work. The guy showed up on time and he went right about his business which I really appreciated. I needed one door repaired and one door completely replaced and this guy took care of both with no issues or problems. He also did it very quickly which was just as impressive. He did a great job and the price was not too bad either. I would definitely recommend this guy to anyone who needs some work done on their house. more

Mr. Handyman did the job right. He repaired a deck and some rotten wood and siding on the house. It took three days to do the job, but he estimated two days and that's why he got a four rating instead of five. Whatever he did was good, but it was just slower than expected. I might use them again. more

I had someone from Mr. Handyman of Huntsville come out and do a few repair jobs in my home and the person they sent was very productive. He did a socket repair and removed some gutters for me and one of the jobs required an extra hand. While he was waiting on the second person, he did some extra repairs in my home and used his time wisely. I will say that the prices were higher than I expected, but the guy was really professional and didn't waste any time so I will use them again in the future. He did an excellent job and was extremely professional, I was very happy with the quality of service Mr. Handyman provided. more

this is the second time I have used Mr Handyman. they just keep getting better. they show up on time and get to work with all the jobs required and finish what they start! Well worth the charge. As a matter of fact it is a great value and will definitely use them again. more

The handyman Mr. Handyman sent out was very good and very competent. I had them repair a bathroom floor, a leaky pipe and a ceiling repair. The service was good. The gentleman who came out and did the work was very good at his job. It did cost me a lot more than I had originally anticipated, but it wasn't their fault. It turned out there needed to be more work done than I thought there would be. It was valid work, however, and it was things that needed to be done. Everything went well. more

I hired Mr. Handyman of Huntsville to do some small jobs around the house I didn't have time to get to myself. The guy they sent out was very knowledgeable in many fields, he showed up when I was expecting him and his work was excellent. His work was also very neat he didn't make a mess and cleaned up as he went along. I would recommend them to others, it's a very handy service. more

Had to hire another handyman service to finish the job Handyman of Huntsville started. They were charging an outrageous hourly rate and taking their time doing an inferior job. I tried to stay with them because they had started the job even though it was costing me an arm and a leg I tried to let them finish it. I had to finally just let them go and hire another service. In doing so I saved a lot of money and the project turned out much better. Never again Handyman of Huntsville. more

I hired Mr. Handyman of Huntsville because I had two rooms, both that needed just a little bit different work. In one room they helped me setup a new bed and a few other smaller things and the other room needed to be painted. Mr. Handyman showed up on time, they were very friendly and courteous and I was very satisfied with the work that they preformed for me. I would recommend them to anyone. more

Mr. Handyman of Huntsville's excellent workmanship impressed me the most. He added a porch railing, enclosed all of my back porch with screening, and did some paintwork and maintenance work around my house. I will call them again if I have another project, and I would refer them to friends. more
