Mr Electric of Tucson

I hired Mr. Electric Of Tucson for some electrical work in my home, and though the job itself was done well enough, I was turned off by their customer service. I originally had two guys come out to give an estimate, and I was very impressed with them at that point, as they were knowledgeable and nice. However, on the actual day they were supposed to come out and do the work, I sat around for hours and nobody showed up. When I finally called Mr. Electric to see what was going on, they sent someone else out whom I had never met. I think it was rude and unprofessional for the servicemen to cancel on me without calling. Poor communication is a big turn off to me, and I'm not sure I will continue to use Mr. Electric in the future. The job was completed fine and the value was okay, but I'm not impressed with the customer service. more

We had a water leak under the sink that blew out the electric outlet to the dishwasher. The tech that came out was Damien. He was great, very knowledgeable, polite and was a pleasure to have him fix our problem. We will recommend Mr. Electric to everyone. more

At my place of business one of my overhead flourescent lights went out. It appeared to be the ballast because all 3 lights went out at once. I needed a repair. I went searching for an electrician in my area. I found Mr. Electric in the yellow pages and called to schedule an appointment. I was greeted on the phone by Joy who was a pleasure to speak with. She was friendly and helpful. They didn't have an immediate appointment available for my location, but I decided the wait would be worth it because I found her so enjoyable. On my appointment date J.C. Pineda arrived promptly, introducing himself immediately. He was friendly and professional. He determined the problem quickly and had it fixed in no time. Thanks for a job well done!! more

I thought they were a little pricey. You have to realize my summer home is in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and we know all the electricians there. I didn't know if Mr. Electric could have fixed it in less time or effort or if he was just trying to justify. He gave me the price before he started the work, so what would I know? He did a thorough job, I'll say that. When my husband finally got down here, and I gave him the bill, he was like, "What did he do?" I don't know. It was just my own personal opinion. Like I said, I come from Wyoming. Things are cheaper there. I want to be fair to Mr. Electric. I would tell anybody to use him, because they came here promptly, and the little guy was very nice. Just expect to pay the price. more

I would like to commend Nigel, the tech who assisted my tennant at one of our rental properties. He was highly attentive, professional, and above all--honest. If all your employees are as ethical as Nigel, your company deserves top-level recognition. more

The electrician who came out was very polite. I told him what my problem was and he checked the main circuit box, then the breaker, and finally he looked at the wall plugs. I followed him around and he explained what he was finding and what needed done. We then sat down together and worked out a figure for the work. After some discussion, we were able to come up with a plan that helped me save money. As he proceeded to do the work, he came across different things that were unusual. He found some wires had been chewed through, and one point he came to me with a socket that he had never seen before. I explained that it was older than he was. J.C., the electrician, was very nice and gentlemanly. I especially appreciate that he took a scrub bucket with him as he stripped the wires, so the pieces of stripped wire fell into the bucket rather than the floor. Usually you have to pick up after the service people you call out, but J.C. was careful to clean after himself. I would recommend Mr. Electric and J.C. specifically. He took time to make sure I understood everything. I told him to slow down and make everything very clear, and he was very patient with me. Being older, I really appreciate that. I cannot say enough about J.C. He was so accommodating, polite, and ultra professional. On a scale of 1 to 5, I him a 20. He is a gem. more

I used Mr. Electric of Tuscon a few months ago. It was an overall good experience. The electricity went out in a section of my house, and it ended up that it was a wire in the attic that had become disconnected. They got it fixed, and there have been no problems since then. They were pretty quick. They called, and they got the job done. It wasn't cheap, but I don't know pricing. more
