Frauds! I had a technician look at my washing machine that would not turn on. He said that all of the electronics needed to be replaced for over $450. I had to pay $75 for that...

11/22/2014: Never again! These people are jokes! I needed to have the lid locking mechanism replaced on my washing machine. The estimate I was given was $253, more than I paid for the machine! \r \r so, now I'm out the $75 for the service call! Whatever! Hopefully I'll save some other poor soul from making the same mistake by calling them. more

Frauds! I had a technician look at my washing machine that would not turn on. He said that all of the electronics needed to be replaced for over $450. I had to pay $75 for that diagnosis. I looked at the machine myself and saw that the plastic power button was not aligned. I adjusted it and the machine worked fine! I asked that they refund the $75 because they misdiagnosed the problem. They refused. Good thing I didn't pay $450 to replace parts that were not needed. It wouldn't have fixed this simple problem. They are fleecing their customers by making them replace parts that are not broken. Frauds! more

don't call for service * I never will again 3/9/2012

I came home on a Friday evening to find my freezer had been thawing out all day and water was everywhere. I called first thing Saturday morning. Moore & Moore is my local store right here in West View so i wanted to use a local person. I got the answering service at 8:30a.m. which I thought was fine. She said she would pass along the message and they would call after 9a. I waited until 10a and called. The receptionist said that she ""just must not have gotten that message yet."" and well, didn't have anyone and I'd have to take an appointment on Tuesday. When I mentioned that that meant I would lose everything in my freezer, and I asked for a referral to someone who might come out, she of course was no help. I had used this company once for a dryer repair, but I guarantee I will never use them again in any way. more

Best used Appliances in town 1/29/2009

Moore and Moore Appliances have the best used appliances around. I have bought a refrigerator, a stove, and washer and a dryer and am about to purchase another washer and dryer. I have had no problems with anything I have gotten from them and you can't beat the prices. Service is great and I have never waited more than a day for a service call. If you need a good appliance but can't afford new, Moore and Moore is the place you should go. Pros: Affordable, and service is great Cons: None that I can think of more
