Moved my heavy objects 4/10/2013

Moving by Design did a residential move for me, moving two large and heavy objects. They were kept in tact and the work was done well and quickly. No complaints. more

Easy move. 4/9/2013

Moving by Design was able to move my heavy swing set. They were able to lift it over twelve inches and got it over a small fence, which was impressive. This was my first time using them and I would again. more

Moving By Design is excellent. First of all, Tim is just very easy to work with. He's accommodating. I would ask questions and he would answer all of them. This was my second time using this service. The first time was a full house move, and this time I just needed some pieces moved to my house from another location. They were extremely willing, and the prices were excellent. The gentlemen who carried the items were wonderful as well. more

They got the job done, but would not necessicarily use them again. 3/29/2013

They are nice guys at Moving by Design, but they showed up with a truck that was too small for my move. So, not only did they have to maneuver quite a bit to finish the job, but I had to use my truck also. It took a lot of extra time. The guys admitted to me that they weren't using their normal truck. It was frustrating. One of the guys also chatted on his cell phone on the side. They took care of my stuff well but I would not give them high marks on efficiency. I called the office and told me that they had quoted me for less time than it took because of the truck. He rectified it and credited me back an hour. I can't say I would recommend them because I had to call. more

I had several moves; it was a somewhat complicated situation and I had to move from a house to an apartment and back to a house. Moving by Design did everything I needed them to do and I'm very happy with them. They provided personalized service. I would highly recommend them. more

About a 3. 3/4/2013

This was my first time using Moving by Design. Tim handled it great but the packers had problems. The fridge was scratched and expensive pottery was packed on the bottom under a heavy statue. My special lamp got put on the bottom too. There were quite a few packing problems, my lamp was broken and I didn't get too excited about it. One thing I would recommend is they should label the boxes better. They just labeled by room and I still can't find things. The set up was great and Tim was great. Working with Tim was good and I had no problems with how Tim handled everything. I'm not sure if I would continue to use their service but I would consider it if I had it done my way. more

We hired Moving by Design to move an office for us. They also had to move some stuff into a storage unit. They came in and did exactly what they needed to. It did not take them very long. They were very professional. It was a good experience. more

Everything was great- no hassle, nothing broken, and on time 2/11/2013

My daughter recommended Moving by Design because they had moved her and her husband eight or nine months ago. I checked around a few different movers. They were the least expensive and did just as good of a job. They were hard workers. They hit the ground running and never slacked off. On the first day, they didn't take a lunch break until very late in the day. They made sure the finished everything they wanted done before going to eat. When they came back, they offered to load up the truck a day early. They moved a lot of stuff and did a good job. I would use them again more

Moving by Design is a fine company. They were my first movers so I have nothing to compare them to. But they showed up and did what they said they would do. They brought their own boxes and finished in good time. They even charged us less than the original quote because they finished earlier than expected. more

Good customer service. Very honest. 11/8/2012

Moving By Design were very flexible. They moved us out of our old home, put most of our things into storage, and moved items we wanted into our in-laws' house, where we were temporarily staying. When the time came, they reversed the process and put everything into our new home. more
