They Took a Total Of Almost 3 hrs To Move My Stuff From One Apt To Another And Tried To Charge Me Cause They Had To Take A Lunch Break That's A Bunch Of Bs And They Broke My Footboard And A Box Of Dishes And Now They Won't Return My Calls Or Anything See Y'all In Court Tried To Stop The Check But They Cashed It Right After They Left Bunch Of Scam Artist And The Ppl Were Very Rude And Untrustworthy Please Use Someone Else And Try It On Your Own more

Best move I've ever experienced. 3/8/2014

Moved from 2nd floor. They were on time, professional, and quick. My things were treated with care. I felt comfortable having them in my home. They did not need any motivation to keep going. They did everything we asked and even a little more. I will recommend them to my friends and family and definitely use them again! more

Polite. Professional. Fast. 2/11/2014

I have moved several times and have used many different companies. We decided on Moving by Design based on their online reviews we read. The movers we so polite and professional. They finished four or five hours before I thought they would. I figured they would be working well into the evening but they were very fast. They were also very careful with my stuff and did not break anything. more

Everything went fairly smoothly, even with the time estimate being a little off. 2/10/2014

Overall, I thought Moving by Design took great care of our furniture. Nothing was damaged and nothing had to be replaced. They were all friendly men who seemed to be very efficient, and they put everything where it needed to go. The only downside was that the time estimate in the original quote was really low compared to the actual time it took. I think they estimated 7 to 8 hours, and it really took around 11 hours. That was the only issue, so I think maybe we just needed another guy. more

Very dependable, professional, and thorough 2/7/2014

Moving By Design did a very good job helping me move. They were efficient, polite, and got the job done faster than I expected. The prices were very reasonable and the estimated price rounded out to be right on point. The movers who came were punctual and very careful. Not a single item was damaged. Tim is very organized and responsive. He answered all of the questions that I had. I'm overall really pleased with the experience and I'd definitely use them again. more

Reliable 2/6/2014

i used Moving by Design twice, the first time being a year and a half ago. Their phones were out of order for a couple days,but I was happy that the second time I used them it was the same guys. Typically moving companies have a lot of temporary movers so them to have the same ones after all that time speaks highly about their company. more

Five star service from estimate to delivery 2/5/2014

In January, 2014, I relocated my Clear Lake, TX home to Norman, OK. After interviewing several companies, I chose Moving By Design. Tim came to my home, very thoroughly explained details and gave a guaranteed estimate not to exceed a certain amount. The final cost was actually a little less. Four men came to load the truck, worked non-stop and were finished in less than 3 hours. Then two men immediately left to drive to OK. They were at my new residence unloading at 8 a m the next morning, finishing in 2 hours. High praise goes to Nick & Steve. Absolutely everything was perfect. I have advised my Houston realtor to recommend Tim's company to her clients. Thank you. more

Efficient and Thorough. 2/4/2014

I used moving by Design to move a lot of stuff. They unloaded, stacked and stored everything very efficiently. They were careful to ensure that nothing got damaged or broke. I appreciated that they took care of my property by making sure there was no damage done. I would highly recommend them to anybody who needs help moving. more

Very good 2/3/2014

Moving by Design helped me move from Houston to Friendswood, Texas. I did my packing on my own. They kept me notified as to the status of their distance like if they were running late and when they were close by. I had left a few things in my apartment that I needed help getting out so I called them back and they got back to me in the same day. more

Moving by design came to help me on two occasions with very short notice and took care of everything from boxing, sorting, and moving to two different locations. Very considerate, courteous and professional. I will call them for any moving needs I have in the future and have already told several friends about them. more

Excellent! 12/6/2013

We had a piano I could not possibly move and a very heavy treadmill. We had to move these things from one house to another house that was six and a half miles away. Moving by Design came in, talked with us, were very friendly, told us what they were doing, did it, and there were no issues at all. They did an excellent job! more

Cheaper final price than estimated. Very efficient and experienced movers. 12/5/2013

My experience with Moving by Design was great. Price-wise there were no surprises. The service ended up being cheaper than what they estimated it would be. That was because it was an hourly rate, and the movers wasted no time in loading and unloading my items. They showed up at the time we were set to meet. Then, they packed up the things in my storage unit and transported them to my new apartment. At the apartment complex, they unloaded everything and even had to bring things up a few flights of stairs. They were very good, and I would recommend them. more

Excellent 11/27/2013

The movers from Moving by Design were great. I hired them to pick up some furniture from a furniture store and then deliver it to an assisted living facility within 24 hours. They did it without question and without hesitation. If you need something done quick and fast in a professional manner, hire them! more

I had used Moving by Design once before when I moved into an apartment from my house. Then I changed my mind and wanted to move back to the house. I called them again and they did a beautiful job. They were just very good and they had excellent customer service. The first time I used them they did such a good job, so I wanted to go with them again. I have already recommended them several times. They're excellent. They take care of your furniture; nothing is ever scarred or broken. more
