Movers Of The Valley

I just recently moved with Movers of the Valley and they were fantastic. I'd spent hours online reviewing local companies from both google and Angie's list. I ended up going with this local Mesa moving company. I had expected the day I was to move, would be extremely stressful especially with strangers handling my things unknowing their meanings. Luckily, they showed up on time as schedules, and even finished the job right at the estimated finish time. Movers of the Valley did a great job and will go with their services if needed anytime in the future! more

Movers of the Valley are the most integrity that i have ever seen in movers. Movers of the valley honestly know what pleasing your customers are. Movers of the Valley were honestly the greatest movers we have ever worked with. A friend who suggested the company mentioned them being simply the best, and they were. My family and I moved from Scottsdale to Queen Creek just last week and my mother was so pleased with how careful every worker moved every last item to our new home. Read all the reviews on this company and check their BBB rating (which is an F, by the way!). They are horrible! The worst moving company I have ever dealt with. Do yourself a favor and go with any other moving company. You will regret it if you hire Movers of the Valley. more

Movers of the Valley has good pricinq for their company. I did not have one stressful moment when they were movinq my House. Hello Future Movers – I hope you will please read my review and find it helpful. I scheduled a move from Movers of the Valley for July 16th to move from Gilbert to Mesa. It was a pretty uncomplicated move and only took a bit of time. Upon unpacking I realized that my 40’ LCD television had been damaged. It looks just as if it wasn’t secured in the truck and it fell and the corner of a piece of furniture impacted the screen which resulted in the visual component being completely shattered. Long story short – my 1000$ tv is no longer functioning. I figured I would call the movers and ask about their policy for damages. The owner, Tony, told me that the specific mover is the one that did the damage and so it wasn’t his problem. Obviously this is unacceptable. He told me that he would have the mover call me and that the mover had to determine if the mover made the damage and then if so, he had to pay for it out of his pocket. I very much doubt a mover making 10$ an hour is going to admit to breaking a $1000 television. I was told to call the particular mover who told me that the owner, Tony, had to decide what to do. I called Tony, who told me that he has nothing to do with it because they don’t have any insurance and it is up to the mover to determine if they did the damage. Yes, I know, I assumed wrongly that they had insurance. This is not a mistake I’ll ever make again. However, it’s not clearly stated on their website and no one told me that if there was an issue, I would have no recourse. I wanted to write this review to let everyone know that you should NEVER consider using Movers of the Valley. One and a half weeks after I talked to the mover I had heard nothing… I continued to call and text for a week. I finally wrote an email stating that i was going to leave a bad review. I received a call about 1 hour later from someone wanting to set up a time to come look at the tv. I said I could be available anytime during the week after 6pm and any time on the weekend. I was told I’d get a call at 6pm to set something up that evening. At 6:15 I had to call back and the person said he had some “stuff to do” and would call me shortly. I called back again at 7:30pm and had to leave a message to which I never received a reply. While I may have to eat the cost of a new television, I hope that the Movers of the Valley lose much more potential income because of their complete incompetence and lack of customer respect and service. more

First off, let me thank you for taking care of me on my move. During a very stressful time, you returned all my phone calls, kept your appointments, and showed a great deal of personal care and concern for me and my belongings. This is rare, if not completely missing, in the moving industry. Prices were a complete bargin and honest You guys walk the walk you talk, and I am honored to say we are colleagues. I called Movers of the Valley last minute thinking i could do it by myself and i was very impressed. The service was top of the line and they were very flexible to my last minute needs. Management was Wonderful!!! more

Movers of the Valley was the best moving service experience I have received. I was planning on getting a U-Haul and moving myself but I called Movers of the Valley the afternoon before my big move and it took less than five minutes to setup an appointment for the next day and the price was more than reasonable. The movers came to my place of residence 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment and moved me within in 2-3 hours. Movers Mike and Todd were extremely professional, funny, and helpful. I got online and read a few reviews on Movers of the valley. I read positive reviews and quotes and decided to give them a try. Let me start by saying it was awesome! I just wanted to take the time and tell you what a great job your movers, and your company did for me on Jan. 1st. My move was probably one of the larger ones, and your men did such a good job, that I tipped each one of them 50.00 dollars. They handled the move great, and nothing was damaged. Also we had a piano that I was really worried about, and they handled it like it was easy to them. I don't know where you get these guys, but I will call you anytime we have a move, also I recommend Movers of the Valley, to all of my friends and coworkers. Thanks again, John Anaya more

As the review below states, they get one-star because you cannot give zero. The business model alone begs for poor service. If you charge by the hour, what motivation is there to move fast? Judging by the speed the 70 year old man and his lurch of a companion moved, clearly none. The owner also sent a truck that was so obviously too small for our move I noted it as soon as they pulled up. The movers spent an extra hour to an hour and a half staring at the truck trying to figure out how to get all of our stuff in it. In total, we probably fit 80%, the rest of which I had to rent a u-haul to move, which is what I should have done in the first place. My wife called Tony, the owner, to compalin, and he told her I had stated a bunch of things that were not true ("not a lot of furniture" "only moving big stuff" etc.) which is why he sent a smaller truck. A bunch of lies. Also, our old house to our new house is a 25 minute drive, at most. It took the movers an hour to get there. The owner called the drivers while they were en route, and with my wife on the phone, this half english speaking movers says, "who cares, they're weirdos anyway"!! Really? This guy felt it appropriate to share sexual stories about his ex-wives that I did not ask to hear and certainly did not want to hear, and we're the strange ones??? Finally, 6 hours later (what would have taken 3 with a U-haul by myself), they were finished (they actually left everything in the garage because after their comment I wanted them the hell out). Just an unpleasant company. By the end of it all, the owner was rude, offered $5 off the hourly rate, which did not even cover the cost I paid for his dirvers to take their sweet time between houses. If you are willing to give your money to a company with a business model that promotes a horrible work ethic, then this company is for you. Otherwise, stay away!!! I certainly will send all my friends, family and acquiantances the same message. more

They get a one star rating because I had to highlight a star, no other reason. The movers themselves were very nice, one was a pro and the other a total newbie and not worth paying $75 an hour for. Tony, the owner, scheduled the move knowing full well the extent of the move and it's requirements yet he sent two guys, one experienced and the other not. After 12 hours of working and being fed by me, we finally sent them home because they were tired and very disorganized from the start, we should've been moved in hours before this time and Tony was being a jerk about it when I contacted him. Needless to say, things were knicked, dishwasher chipped, appliances not fully set in place, our bed fell apart during the night. Do yourself a favor and keep away from this moving company. There are many better and cheaper companies out there that deserve your move! Trust me on this one. more
