After waiting 12 weeks for a consultation, someone from her office called me 5 mins. before her office closed on a Thursday to cancel my appt. which was to be on the following Monday. I called on Friday (8 times) and couldn't get a human being to answer the phone to reschedule for the following week. I was here in Tucson for only 1 week while taking care of a sick relative on the east coast. Well, no answer on Friday. When I reached a human on Monday, I was scolded for not rescheduling on Thursday (remember 5 mins. before they closed). So this was my fault? You couldn't squeeze me in for a 5 min. consult? But nooooo! So after this rude, unprofessional treatment, I'll admit I told the miscreant phone answerer to tell the doctor where she should shove her endoscope.\r So what happens, 4 months later? I get a registered letter that I'm no longer her patient and to never contact her office again. So like why would I want to?\r BTW, the reason for the 12 wk. wait for the appt.? They kept insisting that she never treated me or performed a colonoscopy (during which I woke up in severe pain) 8 yrs. ago. Never heard of me before! So why do I get a registered letter saying I will no longer be her patient!!\r Please, do yourself a favor. Stay away from this doctor and her rude staff.\r The one and only reason I gave her one star is that this sight insists on not letting me leave NO stars.\r more

I made my first (and last) appointment with this office only to totally regret it later. I had to wait for more than a month to see Dr Debra Polson, and when I showed up I was told by the receptionist that they had cancelled my appointment!! ""How come I don't know about it?"", I asked, and all the receptionist said was ""I am sorry"". Another surprise: She also informed me that the doctor does not accept patients of my kind (Hep.C). Ironically, on the wall of the waiting room there there was a posted policy of the office stating that if a patient misses an appointment or does not show up without prior cancellation, the patient would be charged a $80.00 fine. Now, how much should I charge the office for taking a day off from work (estimated $100 of my PTO time) for this appointment? Conclusion: After making a new appontment with ANOTHER specialist in a DIFFERENT office I hope I am going to have a better luck. I would categorically advise NOT to use this office - they are not professional, not friendly and plain rude. Cons: Customer-hostile office, unprofessional staff. more

TERRIBLE. No help, waited months for my appointment, and refused to see me after I had already checked in and changed into the robe. Her only reason was that I ""might"" have seen her previous partner a couple years back. KEY WORD: MIGHT. I believe I actually saw HER previously, but with no questions asked, she rejected me. If she has such a policy she should say so when people first make an appointment, NOT when they are already in the room waiting for her. People have to wait months at a time to see specialist, and to be rejected day of is total BS! I do admit her assistants were kind and it's not their fault POLSON has a poor practice.
