BAD BAD BAD 12/20/2011

I have been going to Moulton Animal Hospital for the last 10 years. My pets have been seen by both Dr McKee and Dr Meinert and I always felt they received excellent care. There have been a lot of changes within the hospital and doctors and long term staff are no longer there. I tried to keep an open mind and hope for the best. I scheduled a visit for my pet with the "new doctor" and I assure you I will never be back. I waited 45 minutes to get put into a room and then I had to discuss my pet's condition with an assistant for 15 minutes reviewing what the doctor would "recommend" before the doctor even came in the room. The doctor was very unprofessional and unkempt with dirty fingernails and exposing her lower backside while she examined my dog on the floor. She was unfriendly, abrupt and sterile as she reviewed my pet's condition. We were presented with an $800 estimate for my pet's care and when we asked to talk to the vet again with questions we were told she was busy with "other patients". That was the final straw. They lied to me 11/3/2011

They told me that it is California law that all cats have to be vaccinated against rabies every year. I don't like to give my cat rabies vaccines as she is very sensitive to shots and is an indoor cat anyway. The vet insisted that my cat be vaccinated and it would be illegal if she did not get the vaccine. I later found out that it is not the law at all!! The Dr lied just to make money. HEARTBROKEN LONG TIME CLIENT 5/30/2010

Been a client for 10.5yrs. with Dr. Mienhert with 3 dogs and at one time 2 cats. My dog was having some reflux & gagging with anemia over several weeks. He collapsed on Monday&I called the clinic @3p.m.. Dr.Mienhert was off, and Dr. McKee via the receptionist told me to wait to come in the next day to see Mienhert. When I told her he wouldn't live that long, could I bring him in right at 6p.m. to put him down she said NO. I then told the receptionist to tell her who it was (they all know me very well),& what was wrong with the dog again, that the dog was near death (I'm a retired nurse), her response back was "Tell them to drop him off and I'll do it when I can". Is that not the worste thing ever? LIke we would consider leaving our animal there alone to die without us?????? I can't tell you how many times I have sat in that waiting room for up to 2hrs. because I knew they were coping with a problem without ever complaining because I knew some day I would need them to be there fo more

I highly recommend Moulton Animal Hospital and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Prices compared to my other vet is the same. more

Moulton Animal Hospital is where I take my pets 11/18/2009

It seems that, like many businesses, Moulton Animal Hospital is trying to maintain staff and clientele during difficult economic times. Lately the wait times have been longer (it looks like they have fewer employees working), but everyone is still friendly. Are there "cheaper" places to take your pets? I'm sure there are, but the question for me is whether the quality of care is better at a "cheaper" hospital. The Veterinarians and Staff at Moulton Animal Hospital have always treated my pets as though they were their own; with the utmost care and kindness. That's why I take my pets to Moulton Animal Hospital. more

They are Ok for minor stuff like vaccines but anything else should go to another vet for exam, surgery, etc. They do not care about the pets, only your money and always push unnessesary stuff to raise the bill. There are a lot more caring and cheaper places to take your pets. I've never been satisfied with them. more

Moulton Animal Hospital is aweseome! 11/13/2009

They are awesome here! Our dog loves going to the vet and they do a great job of treating animals. Our dog got bit by a poisonous spider and they got her in right away without an appointment. They even called the next day to check up on her. We love the vets here!!! more

Don't recommend 4/5/2009

I didn't like this place. The receptionists cared more about watching TV then greeting customers. The techs didn't seem to know anything. The doctors seemed more interested in emptying your wallet. They don't care much about pets. more

Everyone at the office is so kind and can really relate to you and your pet. Dr McKee talks to the animal and shows a true interest in your pet which puts the owner at ease. more
