Been a client for 10.5yrs. with Dr. Mienhert with 3 dogs and at one time 2 cats. My dog was having some reflux & gagging with anemia over several weeks. He collapsed on Monday&I called the clinic @3p.m.. Dr.Mienhert was off, and Dr. McKee via the receptionist told me to wait to come in the next day to see Mienhert. When I told her he wouldn't live that long, could I bring him in right at 6p.m. to put him down she said NO. I then told the receptionist to tell her who it was (they all know me very well),& what was wrong with the dog again, that the dog was near death (I'm a retired nurse), her response back was "Tell them to drop him off and I'll do it when I can". Is that not the worste thing ever? LIke we would consider leaving our animal there alone to die without us?????? I can't tell you how many times I have sat in that waiting room for up to 2hrs. because I knew they were coping with a problem without ever complaining because I knew some day I would need them to be there fo
