Equally important is a shop that completely understands the intricacies of today?s complex transmissions and can explain any problem in simple terms. Lastly, it?s important to find a shop that is fair as demonstrated by a large loyal customer base. Motortrans in Marlton NJ is such a shop. \r Motortrans is a second generation transmission shop. very well satisfied overall" 7/15/2011

I visited Motor trans in marlton last week and had to leave my car, it was acting up bad for sure, I was told that it may take sometime to check it out, John & Ed said they would throughly check the problem I was having , shifting and a hard thumping noise that was driving me insane in the trans!!! It was a free check which was to let me know what I was up against,(cost of repair,) John was very nice and the problem was minor to what I was told by another shop , what a relief to what I was quoted elsewhere!! John in formed me that it would be fixed properly and the time time factor in getting it ready , I had no idea a trans was so complex and the time in which it took to get my car back, as I needed it for work and my wifes errands around the town to mention. I didn't know at all was going to take about a week or more but I'm so happy John was up front with me and to all the steps I had to go thru in getting the job done. John's words were right on the money!! and my wife and I are more

"I don't RUSH my work!" 6/26/2011

I had read the reviews as well as a description of this shop online before I took my car in. I had high hopes that they would at least be able to tell me what was wrong with it. After taking it in at the beginning of the week to be looked at and to diagnose the problem (for free) I was told they wouldn't be able to check it until the next day. No problem. The next day... still no progress, they told me what they think the problem MIGHT be and quoted the maximum amount it could cost. I asked them to figure out exactly what the problem was and we'd take it from there. Another day later I got a phone call saying they hadn't opened it up to diagnose the problem yet, when I aksed when they would have that done I was told between 9-11am the next morning. By 11am, nothing. So I call at 11:30 to find out what's going on only to find out they hadn't even gotten started until I called. Finally I had enough! After a week of being in this shop the problem had still not been diagnosed and o more

went to a number of transmissions shops and was paying just to look at my car and the time I spent was to long, met with John the owner and was taken care of on my 05 chevy silverado his experience on what was needed and the job done was great he also does auto repairs!!! the oil change and belts I needed was done all at his shop!!! I even was offered a ride when I had to leave my truck. I liked the quick service& knowledge of my trucks problems along with the phone call letting me know before any work was done to my truck along with the fair price to do the work. with the budget I had to work with. I will recomend motor trans for all my repairs !!! more

transmissions plus 12/3/2010

Brought my car to john the owner and was suprised that I did'nt need a transmission at all, been to many others for a price and was lied to about costly work needed John the owner was experienced, He greeted me with a smile and was very intentive to my needs his experience with the transmission business exceeds my expectations on knowledge for sure!! I will send my car to him for auto repairs as well...:) he's the best I have ever seen and will take my car back to him.....he's my pick for sure!! Kudo's John " you're the man!!! more
