I bought a Dodge truck when they were the dealer. My wife just bought a Kia Optima from them. Everything about the purchase went great. No hidden shell games and back and forth about price. Eric is always so helpfull when I bring my Jeep Liberty in for service. I have needed some air conditioning repairs, and my window regulators needed fixing. They got the parts the next day and had the job done when they told me it would be done. \r I recomend this shop for all repairs. My husband got a great deal on a set of tires from Eric last year. more

not only did i buy my car 2 years ago at mother lode motors , but i take it there for all my services and repairs , they have treated me like i am someone special , i drop my car off for service and the give me a ride to work , ( thanks david ) i would recomend mother lode motors to the whole county !!! more

I'm a single mom. I needed a new car to fit my growing kids. When I went to the lot a creepy kid/salesman nearly jumped on me while I was getting out of my car. And it only got worse. While I was trying to look at the car I was interested he was trying to look down my shirt. Seriously?!! What happened to professionalism? When I went inside to try to negotiate a deal on the car apparently they saw nothing but a target with dollar signs all over it. I felt like I was being raped and robbed. Then I actually heard the slimy salesman making comments about me to his buddies. Needless to say, I didn't buy a car there and I will NEVER return. more

I have never had a worse experience at any car dealership in my life! I was interested in a used truck. The first sales man I spoke to (Harley) was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. He showed me the vehicle, test drove with me and didn't try to pressure me into a sale I wasn't ready for. The showroom, however was BLAZING HOT! They wouldn't even turn on the air conditioning! And to be honest, it had the feel of a slimy used car dealership you'd go to in the valley. I didn't purchase the vehicle that day but returned a few weeks later because I was very interested in the truck. To my surprise I found the price on the SAME TRUCK I had looked at earlier increased by $3000!! How is that possible? The previous salesman wasn't there and I was helped by some punk kid who clearly didn't know ANYTHING about ANYTHING - especially cars. \r \r I finally spoke to the owner - disgusted by this point. I was going to purchase a car I was very interested in, but when I went out to look at it, I was approached by a SCARY looking guy who smelled like an ashtray and looked like a gangster! He gave me the creeps. I then parked my car, and went inside to use the restroom and talk to the guys further. He did show me where the bathroom was, and was helfpul in that regard.\r Upon exiting the bathroom, he was waiting for me! He proceeded in talking to me more, when I just wanted to get away from the creep. It was boiling hot inside the building, and I'd think if they actually wanted to keep people inside, they could at least turn on some air.\r Overall, I was completely creeped out and dis-satisfied! Although I really wanted the car, I'll find one somewhere else. more

i agree i had a bad experience with them i bought a 04 ford taurus they said they would fix the check engin ligh on said they just fixed something on it and then i bought it drove it to work stayed there for 2 days went back to sonora on my way home the check engine light came on took it to motherload a 02 sensor was bad had it replaced they charged me to fix it two hours later the check engine light came on they were closed took teh car to them now its a catalytic converter which costs 1-2 thousand dollars to fix the car is onl worth wat i paid for it so lear is a lesson dont use them please more

One of the best experiences in car buying I have ever experienced. I bought a used SUV. It was in great shape. It had brand new tires, and they even gave me a 3mo. 3000 mile warranty. The sales person who helped me was kind and not pushy. 2 thumbs up! more

Motherlode sold me a Used car with a "21 point safety Inspection", and 3 mo. warranty. They failed to tell me that it was still under the factory powertrain, and charged me for repairs to the car that should have been fixed under warranty. The car was not even checked out before it was sold, it was almost out of oil 2 days after I bought it and the battery was so corroded that it burnt up the electrical a few months after I bought it. I told the sales person that I knew nothing about cars and asked over and over if it was checked out thoughouly before the sale, of course I was told yes. Well MML lost their Chrylser franchise and failed to tell me that too when I took it to them to repair after my tranny went out. Lucky for me I called Chysler Corporate and they told me to get the car out of there and take it to Chase. Chase found defective parts and they fixed it under the warranty for free while Motherlode quoted me $3800. These guys will scam you whichever way they can from the sale more

The service department is not courteous and helpful. They definely do not go the extra mile to make sure that you will refer them or come back. If you buy a car from a different dealership they will not honor any of the other dodge dealer's agreements. On one occasion I brought my dodge to motherlode moters because my drivers side door wouldn't open. Well the service guy accused me of slim jimming my door. I told him I didn't and he preceded to badger me. I left and took my dodge to fireside dodge and they did not accuse me and found out it was a mechanical defect in the door - they covered it and it was fixed. today i went to motherlode motors to help with the U-Connect in my vehical and they said it was technical and they would have to charge. i left again and another dodge dealship helped me pair my phone to the u-connect. the u-connect is a devised that came with my dodge installed by dodge - I can't believe that motherlode couldn't even help me pair my phone with their equipment. i just bought my car 3 months and this is the service that motherlode motors provides- so again buyer beware these guys don't help after you purchase a dodge product their just out to obtain more revenue. Within the past year I visited mother lode motors looking at used cars. Every single car has had something wrong with it. They usually say they will fix the car if we buy it or pretend like it's no big deal and we are the one's with the problem. I would suggest never buy a used car from mother lode motors. THey also try to use high pressure sales tactics. more
