last time I was in Jacksonville I stayed at a different hotel and my experience was not very good, I'm glad to be back at my regular hotel. staff was great. as always my room was clean the stadd was super friendly. this Ramada may not be the fanciest but I know what I'm going to get every time that I come here. more

An excellent place to stay with friendly staff and great complimentary breakfast. Desk clerk Shanika was especially helpful and pleasant. AM friendliness is really refreshing. Room was clean with nice amenities i.e. microwave and refrigerator. Convenient location to Jacksonville business, Camp LeJuene, and Albert J. Ellis airport. more

Over the last few years we've stayed in a number of hotels in the Jacksonville area. They've all been disappointments. We based our decision to stay at the Ramada on the reasonable rate, not expecting anything spectacular. From the moment we arrived, the staff was exceptional. The young lady at the front desk was expecting us and had everything ready for us as we checked in. Each morning we were greeted by everyone with ""Good Morning!"" If we needed anything at all, they responded quickly and advised us professionally of any additional fees so there were no surprises on our bill. The room was clean and well made. Our son's homecoming from Afghanistan was that much more enjoyable because we were not annoyed by our accommodations. Thanks so much. more

I love this hotel! everytime I come to 6/6/2012

I love this hotel! everytime I come to visit my son in CampLejune I stayed at the Ramada. The hotel is centrally located near all bases especially where my son is stationed. The price that I pay is very reasonable and fair, and i like the staff, they are very helpful and friendly, they even call me by my first name and it made me feel like I've known them for a long time even though I have been a regular guest since last year, I like one of the manager Ms Lockett, she always find time to chat with me and the rest of the guest in the breakfast area to check if everything is ok with our stay..i will definitely recommend Ramada to my family and friends to stay here! more

I drove cross country to visit my 5/31/2012

I drove cross country to visit my boyfriend at Camp Lejeune and stayed at the Ramada Jacksonville. I had been traveling a long time and was very tired. It was very refreshing to check in and have such wonderful customer service at the front desk. more

Very Helpful 5/25/2012

Everyone was very helpful and got us checked in very promptly. When we got in our room it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The next morning we indulged at the complimentary breakfast that was wonderful. Overall we had a wonderful stay and I would gladly return when I come to the area again. more

Very Nice Place 5/17/2012

The staff called my room am hour after we checked in to ""make sure everything was to our satisfaction so far?"" and that has never happened before and I was very impressed! The courtyard is very nice with big beautiful shade trees, a nice playground, an inground pool, lots if seating, a horseshoe pit and a grilling area. more

Stay here if your on a budget 5/10/2012

The rooms have lots of mirrors so getting ready in the morning with three women went ""pretty"" fast, considering they were women...lol! I would suggest anyone on a budget to stay here, you would be hard pressed to find a better value than here!! more

I just love the courtyard at this hotel 5/1/2012

I have been traveling to Jacksonville for years and have tried all the hotels and this property beats them all every time. I just love the courtyard at this hotel the pool is situated in the center of the courtyard with plenty of pool deck space for tanning and plenty of lounge chairs for everyone. The courtyard is so spacious and has several picnic tables and several round table also there are nice park benches under the 150 year old white oak trees. The outdoor grills is also a great courtyard feature that is only at this property where I always cook up my own burgers and steaks and then throw some hourshoes with fellow guest. The staff is great always ready to help and it's been the same staff for over five years since I have been going there. The front desk staff calls me by name as does management and housekeeping. Their breakfest buffet is extensive, consistent and satisfying, if I want something else there is a waffle house on the same property. The property is very well lighted at night and the courtyard is beautiful at night. The Ramada is the hotel I will always stay at when in Jacksonville. more

I didn't expect much pulling into Jacksonville but found the Ramada to be quite nice. Room was clean, staff friendly and free breakfast was more than enough. Nice outdoor area. Good location. more

Not your typical Ramada 4/30/2012

Not your typical Ramada, being that it is an outside entrance hotel. But I found it very clean, friendly and with a really cool courtyard/pool area. The area had an swing set that you would find at a grade school, barbecue area, horseshoe pits and a pool. We sat in the Gazebo while watching the kids swing and later had a small cook out. We were in town to visit my brother who is in the Marines and him and a couple of other Marines joined us for the cookout. Our room was clean and even had a corner jacuzzi tub. Will definately stay again if we make it back down before my brother is reassigned. more
