I have been traveling to Jacksonville for years and have tried all the hotels and this property beats them all every time.
I just love the courtyard at this hotel the pool is situated in the center of the courtyard with plenty of pool deck space for tanning and plenty of lounge chairs for everyone. The courtyard is so spacious and has several picnic tables and several round table also there are nice park benches under the 150 year old white oak trees. The outdoor grills is also a great courtyard feature that is only at this property where I always cook up my own burgers and steaks and then throw some hourshoes with fellow guest.
The staff is great always ready to help and it's been the same staff for over five years since I have been going there. The front desk staff calls me by name as does management and housekeeping.
Their breakfest buffet is extensive, consistent and satisfying, if I want something else there is a waffle house on the same property. The property is very well lighted at night and the courtyard is beautiful at night. The Ramada is the hotel I will always stay at when in Jacksonville.
