Okay. I usually don't take chances on spending good money at BBQ joints. They are ALL so different and there are so many different ways to prepare BBQ, it is a serious crap shoot to stumble upon a place that is great, or even good. The locals I spoke to RAVED about this place, so I thought I would give it a try. I should have taken my own advice. The ribs I had at Dale's weren't that good. The sauce is VERY vinegary, they were a little tough, and I really had to work to get what little meat I could scrape off the bones with the flimsy plastic fork they gave me. Their menu is a little misleading too. I ordered the pound of pork ribs. The menu said it comes with fries, coleslaw, and garlic bread. It indeed came with all of that; however, I received about eight soggy steak fries, a very tiny container of coleslaw (about 1/4 cup) and soggy garlic bread. Dales has been a favorite for our family for years. I like going there with my brothers, son and nephew. It is always fun to see them enjoy eating at "Dales". The sandwiches and coleslaw are always delicious.The iced tea is a favorite. There are other menu choice that are just as good. And the prices are very good. There is a convenient drive through also. more

Dale's has got to be the best choice if you don't want to cook but want good non-fast food that won't cost an arm & a leg...especially if you can get there before 5 PM for their specials. We love to get the large beef special....beef sandwich (or pork), fries, coleslaw, and iced tea....for less than $5.00! The cole slaw is delicious...not too sweet or watery, but just right; we usually get a quart of it and it's gone before the night is through. The beef is very tasty and lean, and the drive-through is so quick and convenient. Oh, their ribs awnd garlic bread are delicious, too. Actually, I have enjoyed everything I have ever gotten from Dales, and we've been going to Dale's for 20 years or so. more
