Moon Shadow Window Tinting

Very professional attitude, Excellent customer service - \r Lance was very professional and thorough in explaining me all the options for tinting available. He was the one who did the job and it was excellent ! He did advice a standard 3-5 days no wash/use of windows (which I thankfully adhered too) and post exactly 3 days after the film cured - there were absolutely no bubbles or peel offs (I went with the Madico films which came with lifetime warranty). Before Moonshadow I did researched and visited a couple of shops but the somehow there was no confidence in the guys - and the fact that they were not being transparent is one big issue! I was almost being duped by one local shop who was tooting that he is going to use a Sungard Shadow series film but got caught red-handed using a Sungard GT series (lower quality/price). Moonshadow on the other hand scored well in being transparent and open in letting customers know what they are getting, not just over the counter but when they do the installations as well on your car. There is a legit/genuine paper work with the warranty and bill for the job. I definitely and highly recommend Lance/Moonshadow if you want a good job done with Tinting while with absolutely NO hidden cost and definitely NO goofed up talks/lies - Pure solid true value for the bucks is what I associate Moonshadow with! more

It's difficult to find a place that is trustworthy with ones car. Lance from auto tint shop was very helpful with any questions. Drove all the way from Mesquite TX and definitely would recommend this company to any person who wants their windows tinted! I was looking for good tint job for my car and this place seemed to have good reviews on yelp, so I checked it out.\r \r The workers there are pretty nice and Lance was helpful with helping me choose the correct type of film material for my car. I took my car there and the employees were professional and knowledgeable. They gave me more information than I asked for and were actually trying to help instead of scam me. Definitely will be returning anytime I need a vehicle tinted. more

Don't use these guys unless you want stuff stolen out of your car. They took my parking access pass from my center console and denied taking it afterwards, stating they ""wouldn't have any reason to be around the center console while tinting,"" Is that so? Then why did I find a straw in my center console....even though I don't eat or drink in my car? I had to purchase a new parking card. And then they have the nerve to ask me bring my car back for future service because of how well-maintained it is. Yah right. \r \r The work is fine; but I wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them. Very poor customer service. more

I have had many cars tinted at Moonshadow over the years and always got great service at a great price. The guys who do the installs have done it for years so they do quality work. I've never had a problem with them and will continue to go back. I plan to have the windows on my house done next. more

I took my mom to Moonshadow to get her windows tinted. Her car went in new, came out with a new scratch on the rear passenger door about 6 inches long down to primer. The employee argued the scratch was an old scratch on a brand new car. He lied out his butt trying to come up with some way it wasn't the responsibility of Moonshadow. The scratch had fresh ""dust"" on it and the water drips from the tint were not affected by the scratch so it happened after it was in their care. They also parked the car when It was done in 2 parking spaces (which could have been the reason as well). Worst place ever avoid it! more

The Manager at the MoonShadow Window Tinting is very very rude and do not respect the value of the customer time and treats customers as if the he is doing a favor and providing the service free of charge. I have never been so frustrated in last 5 years.I wasted almost 2 full days trying to add Tint to my car. They will give appointment, but once you go there, they will cancel the appointment and will ask you to come back. more

They know what they are doing and I trust them. They've been in business for years so they have great experience and advice and low prices. I've had four of my past vehicles tinted and never a problem so I'll be taking my next car there too! more

I've used these guys on my cars for years and last summer had them tint the windows on my house. What a difference it makes in the summer! They do a great job at a great price and have been in business for a long time. My A/C bills were substantially lower since the tint was put on. more

These guys did not do the complete job. When called to complain the owner of the company was very rude. We feel cheated. Terrible customer service and business ethics. more

I bought a 1/2 Price Gift Certificate from 99.5 The Wolf. Moonshadow wouldn't honor it because the previous owner set it up and John and David (the current owners) said they would lose money on the certificate. Not my problem. The business is still Moonshadow Tinting as the certificate reads and the store sign reads. They should have honored it regardless of the owner. He was NOT AT ALL willing to work with me. Terrible customer service. NEVER do business with this unreputable company. more

The previous tinting on my rear window had started to peel. They (Justin) explained my options and helped me decide what would be best for my needs--as to cost, tinting and heat reduction. The service was fast and the explanation of what I could expect and when and how to clean the window very thorough. Pros: Service was according to my need and fast! more

I originally went there for window tinting because i wanted a darker tint for my car. They explained to me that the tint i already had on my car was actually not worth stripping and putting on a non-metallic tint. Instead, i got a prestige alarm system which they installed in about an hour. They are VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE about everything they do. I plan on going back for some new rims soon and my sister wants a tint for her car. Don't even try to look for another tinting, car audio and installation, security place. I went for tinting yesterday because of the video and found it to be 100% true. You should see these guys in action! They are such pros when it came to the righ color, the speed of the service and the aftercare was like leaving a dr's office. They sat me down explained how it cures and how long to wait wo wash my car, roll down windows etc. Excellent service and quality! They tinted my windows today and they not only had the best price for window tinting, but they were the fastest window tinters I have ever seen. The ease in the way they added the window tint was a testemonial to their expertise in the window timting area. I would also use them for audio as well, they were installin several differnt sound systems when I cme in and it sounded good! Pros: great service and products more

They just moved to plano road and I went there to get better sound in my new crossfire. He explained to me that I would waste my money adding speakers that it's the output of the stock stero. I didn't want to replace the stero because it's a convertable and i didn't want someone stealing my new stero AND new speakers, so he reccommended a power amplifier and two more speakers behind the head rest so when the top is down I can hear the music better. It was a cost effeftice way to fix my problem and now I have a fantastic sound in my new ride! They really know their stuff fro tinting or anyother audi car need, I would go to them! I called and looked on the internet for window tinting to no avail all I found were people that did not call me back, that were wayyy over priced ( alta mere wanted 105.00 for TWO front windows! ) or had bad reviews about bad window tinting jobs. I finally asked for a referral on window tinting from my auto mechanic and they recommended Moonshadow window tinting in Garland. They were priced HALF of what Alta Mere wanted, the staff were very nice and they were so fast , I barely had time to drive down the street fo a burger and they were done. This was a anniversary gift for my boyfriend so the ?fast? part was VERY helpful since he didn?t know I took his truck for a window tint. All in all, great service, value and the guys were VERY knowledgeable on what I need for my car to install a adapter for my Ipod. I am coming back and HIGHLY recommend you use them for window tinting or stereo installation in your car OR home. Pros: Everything was fantastic! They have more than one location but the garland one is worth the drive more
