Do not shop at pet stores that sell dogs or cats, they come from puppy mills that do not take care of them properly. Take your business to a store that does not support the cruel ""business"" of selling dogs and cats. more

i shop at monster pets once a week and everyone there is very helpful and always have positive attitudes. as far as cedar chips ive never seen them in their cages. i actually have parakeets that i bought from there and theyre very healthy birds more

I shop at?Monster Pets?all the time and am very happy with the store. The store is clean and everyone is helpful. I have a friend that bought a beautiful Lab from them and its a wonderful, healthy dog. I would highly recommend this store. more

Bought a puppy in sept 07. Puppy was in very good health and came with health guarantee, shots, micro chip. Have not had any problems. Pet has very good disposition, happy, playful. No complaints. more

Wonderful Store 11/10/2010

I like this place better than Petsmart, Petco or Accent on Animals (South Street). My dog eats the Wellness Core adult dog formula and they actually carry it, whereas those other stores do not. Most of the chain stores really only carry crap food so I at least appreciate that at Monster Pets. There is a large selection of toys and accessories as well. The prices are reasonable more

Beware - Awful Return Policy 2/16/2010

Don't purchase big ticket items! You can not return items for refund. I was sold a defective aquarium heater that looked like it had been repackaged when I opened it. The heater almost killed my fish. When I returned the product, I was offered only exchange. In this day and age there is no excuse for a no-refund return policy. dirty and smelly 3/17/2008

I stopped in there... i forget what I was looking for... and I went to the bird cage because I love them. The poor little budgies had bowls of water on the bottom that was so dirty it was brownish. The bowls of water should not be on the floor because birds put their doo doo in it and there was birds sitting in it. That makes it undrinkable. Also the bottom of the cage had ceder chips which is not good. The whole place was really smelly and stunk like they never clean the store. I feel very bad for the birds but I would not buy one there. Pros: parking Cons: unclean, smells bad, sickly pets more
