First, a bit about me, I am a car guy and fanatical about keeping my vehicle clean (CLK500 convertible, Obsidian black metallic paint). I buy Zaino, get the Girots catalog and notice swirl marks and spider webbing from 10 yards. Even if you don't know or care what any of that means, just know you'll stare into infinity when the sun hits your ride after the Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center boys work their magic. Why Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center: 1. Quality. I moved from LA two years ago and tried all of the spots from Bridgeport to Newtown and Shelton before I found Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center. They were the clear winner in depth of gloss, interior care, and overall attention to detail. ?2. Cost. Paradoxically, they are in-line or less expensive as other places for a wash/wax. 3. They have always given me a quick turn around when needed. ?5. Eye Candy. People with serious vehicles trust Danny, Alan, and the team. I love collecting my car and checking out the steady stream of flash cars coming through the tunnel. Sometimes they are not able to take you on a day's notice as their full service detail schedule fills. However, trust me, it's worth the wait. more

I found ""Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center"" through a web search. It's out of the way for me and there are several car washes that are closer to my home and work. However, after reviewing their website, their Facebook page, and reading the reviews I had to try this place because each of the aforementioned projected a professional business that was keeping up with the times, particularly compared with other car washes in the area. I had a dirty Subaru covered in dog hair and grime from hard miles over the past 2 years. They guys at ""Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center"" did a great job. I'm 100% satisfied and I would go back to them again without hesitation. They are honest and down to earth. ?Cheers to them! more

Initially, I called these guys because of positive reviews on this and other sites. And in the end, I'm happy I did. The crew is very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and fair. And they have impeccable customer service. ??Recently married, I inherited the upkeep on my wife's '01 Honda CRV. It's white, has been street parked since she bought it, and probably hadn't been washed in over a year. I finally took the initiative to get it cleaned, and a traditional car wash wasn't going to do the trick. The build up was too much, so I decided to have it detailed. When I pulled onto the lot, there was a beautiful white Porsche that looked brand new parked under the yellow tent. Jokingly, I asked Danny if they could get the CRV looking that good. Their response was a confident, yes. I was expecting them to at least hesitate before answering. Danny explained that because of the years of neglect, this was not going to be a standard detail. Fair enough. After thoroughly explaining the processes it would take to get the car's surface and color back to its original luster, we agreed on a price and I handed them the keys. When I returned to pick-up my car it was parked where the Porsche had been earlier that day. The build up that had covered the car was gone, the surface smooth and the paint, once again, white. That was the hard part. The rest of the car, interior, bumpers and wheels looked fantastic, as well. ??Sure prices may seem a bit on the steep side, but in the end you will get money's worth. And you'll feel good about supporting a hard working and customer focused group of people...at least I do! BTW - I was so impressed I subscribed my wife in their unlimited monthly wash plan for $70/month. My wife can now wash her car (inside and out) as often as she wants and her car will always look as though it's just been detailed! more

These guys are the real deal. They cleaned up my '94 4Runner like no other. They made sure every nook and cranny was clean as a whistle. They also were very accommodating giving me an update call when they thought they might not be able to finish by the scheduled time because they wanted to make sure to get everything pristine, but they did so by having more people work on my car. Professional, detail-oriented, and very friendly. I highly recommend them and will definitely be back, both for my regularly car washing needs, as well as to regularly detail my cars. more

I cannot BELIEVE what a difference they made with my car. I thought the paint on my car was damned to ""eternal matteness"". It looked like it was painted with Whiteout for years. But they did some magical stuff to it to make it shiny and amazing! It looks like normal paint! My car was a disaster, and they worked extra hours to make it look like as-new as a 12-year-old car can look. The shampoo job is spotless, they got in every crack and crevice, every black part is shiny, the wheels were wiped so clean they look new. etc. The guy who actually did the work is super-sweet and detail-oriented. Danny, who runs the place, is also nice (but so mellow as to be not very forthcoming with info). If you get the Complete Detail, it will literally take years off your car and make you want to touch it with gloves and take your shoes off to get in. more

I decided to give Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center a try when I wanted to sell my old Jeep Wrangler. We are talking about a 7-year-old vehicle that I have offroaded in for, well 7 years... Never washed as in NEVER. Anyway since it was time to sell I needed a complete and very thorough cleaning, inside and out, to give it some curb appeal and help me get the most $. I paid $225 for everything inside, outside, underneath, and an engine cleaning, which for the shape this Wrangler was in seemed more than reasonable. What gives this place 5 stars versus 4 is the excellent customer service. The manager came to my office to pick up and drop off my jeep... I didn't want to just drop it off there with the key. The guy came out specifically after hours to pick it up from me and put it in their garage. I thought that was awesome and the Jeep was sparkling like the day I bought it when they were done. I'm going to bring my other Jeep in as I realized that I deserve to drive a cleaner car. Why should I spruce it up for someone else! I had a really good experience that warrants 5 stars! more

You can't honestly ask for more from a car wash. I got the full service Ultimate package for $25, which is a bargain because it includes EVERYTHING even DoubleBond and Rain-X. The guys are super nice and helpful. I signed up for the $50 Deluxe full service unlimited wash plan so I can get unlimited exterior ultimate washes if the inside doesn't need to be vacuumed! What a great deal! more

The ""Ultimate Car Wash"" here is $25 and includes a thorough interior cleaning in addition to the wash. The guys here do an excellent job. They even took a stain out of the front passenger seat. It takes about 20-25 minutes after the wash. While I was waiting, the cashier told me about their unlimited car wash plan where I pay on the first day of the month and I can come in as often as I want (even daily!), so I signed up for the $45 full service wash plan so I can get unlimited washes! What a great deal, now I'm not afraid of Cheerios or dust anymore! more

The Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center did a great job on my extremely sandy and dirty BMW. They washed and polished the exterior and even restored the rims, which are now shiny, but had been buried in brake dust. They shampooed the upholstery and vacuumed up every last grain of sand and speck of dirt. They did such an awesome job I feel compelled to spread the word about the great job they did on my BMW. Unless you just bought your car within the past couple of years, you have no idea how nice your car can look. Trust me, you've forgotten. And if your car is 11 years old like my wife's, has a little body damage here and there, and has smelled kind of stale, then you REALLY have no idea how nice your car can look. After finding out those 11 years of being kept outside has made the exterior oxidized pretty badly, we agreed on a reasonable price, and off I went. We want to sell the car, so we thought getting her looking as nice as possible would probably help matters. We were more concerned about the stains on the fabric throughout the car than we were about the outside, but once I saw the difference these guys made to the exterior, it was like the car was transformed. When I brought it in, stuff was caked on -- stuff that doesn't leave during a normal car wash. When they were done, it was unbelievably smooth. They did an amazing job inside and out (most of the stains were completely gone, and the toughest ones look 90% better), and they're also extremely nice guys to work with. They took the time to explain everything they did. They spent as much time, energy, and care on our Honda as they would on a Porsche. It's not an inexpensive process, but it is incredibly worth it. I'm just sorry we didn't do it before we wanted to sell the car. I'm taking my other Honda to them as soon as I can. I'm still shocked at how nicely they can restore a car's looks. more

This place is great! I brought in our BMW after our toddler threw up in the back seat. There was also 2 years of accumulated milk and coffee drips, plus assorted scratches in the paint. When I returned, the car looked new. The paint was flawless; many of the scratches were buffed out. The interior looked and smelled new thanks to the shampoo job. I have had cars detailed before at other shops, but I have never seen such a great detailing job. I am glad I checked for reviews or I never would have found Monroe Car Wash & Detail Center. The reviews are all spot on. I am please to highly recommend this business! more

Good as new! We took our car in for a detail, because we have light tan interior (never again!) with major staining on the front seats from dark denim and our dog that rides shotgun. We weren't sure it would all come out, but they did an amazing job! You wouldn't even have known it was ever stained. They shampooed the interior and cleaned the exterior. Our car sparkles now - it looks as new as the day we bought it! Thank you. We will be bringing in our older car in for the same treatment! It will need some extra TLC to get it in tiptop shape, but I know they can handle it.\r more

I wash my car here once a week. They have two lanes, one exterior and one interior, so if I've just done my grocery shopping I can stay in the car & drive through which is really convenient and fun to watch the foam & lights go off when I order the Ultimate wash. The inside of my car was dusty and muddy. Went in last week for an interior detail. 4 hours later my interior looked fantastic. They shampooed the cloth, steamed cleaned everything, washed the exterior, cleaned the vents, the glass was crystal clear. They exceeded my expectations; all for $100 plus tip. They are really busy so it's best to go Mon-Thurs. I have a 10 year old car and I know most people wouldn't want to spend the money detailing an older car, but I figure if I keep my car clean I'll be less likely to want a new one. Great place. . I joined their unlimited wash plan where I pay on the first day of the month and I can come in as often as I want (even daily!). I pay $75/month for the Ultimate Full Service package. The price for one Ultimate Full Service Wash is $25,so if I come in more than three times during the month I save money. I am in at least twice a week so I am saving big $. What a great deal, now I'm not afraid of dust, rain, or Cheerios anymore!\r more
