I should have read these reviews before choosing them.\r \r This is the worst business, and certainly the worst healthcare provider I have ever dealt with in 50 years. After waiting an hour and a half, they took xrays, and came back with a $13,000 total. I laughed because I though they accidentally put an extra zero in by mistake, but was told this is what I needed. I told them they had been hitting the "Gas" a little too much, and walked out.\r \r I'm 63 years old, had one cavity when I was in my teens, have all my original teeth, a perfect smile, and am fit as a horse. They wanted to crown a bunch of teeth, veneers, and pull two wisdom teeth, just because. \r \r Shameful to treat a senior citizen like I'm going to be their Sugar Daddy, because I must be stupid due to my age. Idiots like this need to be shut down. \r \r There are plenty of dental offices in this area. Go find one that practices good manners instead of just digging around in your pockets. more

Worst dentist experience ever ! Run, dont walk ! After fracturing a tooth, and departing for service in the middle east in one day, I made an emergency appointment with Monarch Dental in Rockwall. After xrays, the doctor "Dr. thompson" came back with a sheet of dental codes and a total of $10,600 !! She also said it was all needed because the broken tooth could not be saved. When I said to just pull the tooth, she got up and walked out of the room. Ten minutes later another lady told me they could not extract the tooth until mid July, a month and a half later ! I told them they were shameful for their actions and that I had no intentions of buying a new car for the dentist, and left as I was so pissed I feared doing something the law would be called in to deal with.\r \r Monarch Dental wasted my time, when I had so little of it to spare, and refused service in an emergency because I would not pay for a full mouth of un needed services. I went to Comfort Dental the next morning (day I was leaving) and they were very polite, caring, and were able to save the tooth with a crown for $600. You have been warned. This office is terrible, will probably treat you poorly, and will try to get as much money out of you as possible. more

After mistakenly choosing an HMO provider instead of a PPO provider I was unfortunately assigned this shop as my dentist. The facility is short staffed and appeard to be overbooked for appointments. I wanted to schedule a routine cleaning and what I got was a quick scan once over, a few a-rays and afte 90 minutes of waiting to see the dentist, who did nothing more than the screener, I was handed a menu of things ""that needed attention"" and I could choose what I could afford to have done above and beyond what my plan paid. I have never had an experience like this at any dentist office in the past 40 years. After my routine cleaning, I will go back to my real dentist and apologize for choosing HMO instaed of PPO. more

Do not go to this office. My initial treatment was on 4/10 it's now 12/10\r and I'm still having billing issues. As others have said the wait time is very long and they are under staffed, the perio doctor was ok but I can't wait to have it done over because I was never really satisfied with the deep cleaning that I paid out of pocket $327.00 for . Later on after treatment I was told I had to make another trip to their office because panaramic film was lost by them and my claim could not be processed without it or I would have to pay an additional $326.00 so I went back. Then I get another bill for $125.00 saying that the dental calculations that they went over with me were wrong. They are very misleading, they tell you one thing and bill you for more. It's a money pit and the service is horrible. I decided to go to another dentist and went through the same process and it was so much better. I went to this monarc after I recieved vaneers from the garland office , my vaneers kept falling off and i hated the color after I wasnt given the color i wanted i go to rockwall to get crowns because they were working with me to fix this situation. Thought every thing would be fine after fighting this for 5 years. Get my crowns seated and was happy until the technicians decide to remove the transpareny glue by scratching every surfaceof the crown with a pointes instrument. and scratched everyone of themup. So i go back to c what we could do to maybe buff and glaze again . I was yold sorry I dont know what to tell u because we dont c it. But yet would not take the time to c what i am seeing. Do not waste your time, you may save but the education in this office is not schooling it is on the job training and the doctor is not watching anything. there is no leadership. First of all let me say that my care has been good. I do have comments worth mention that you may want to consider before you go to this dental clinic.1. There is not enough staffing of dentist. The one dentist that I have seen is often over burdened, rushed and fast. Some may say, too fast.2. The dentist sets the atmosphere, so the dental assistants are often rushed, impersonal, unprofessional and are lacking. (The dental hygienist are great though.)3. Because of the shortage of staff, patient wait time is unsatisfactory. This means patient wait times for dental care may be prolonged without explaining why. 4. This is my impression, but during my routine dental cleanings, the dentist always seems to find the most simple things to get me to return for dental care. My wife tells me she feels like she is being solicited to spend more money. Its a very uncomfortable feeling. The Monarch here is very good, I had to go not to long ago and the doctors were very good and told me everything I needed to have done. They even did a printout of the work I need and what my Insurance will cover. All the people that work there are very caring. They specialize in all kinds of dental work. more
