The dentist at the office that i chose, Dr. Karen Robertsons, was the most caring and informative Dr. I have EVER encountered !! I had to have a root canal and crown and she was always in complete control. She was very compasionate and treated me with great respect. I appreciate that very much, as I am so afraid of dental work. She actually made it so that I'm not afraid to go back and see her. Thank for your attention. more

Dr. Robertson is the best! When I had some unexpected issues with my teeth she has always made time to see me. She has a great attitude, very friendly and I have all the confidence in the world in her. more

hygenists always cancel appts 12/30/2009

I have gone to this office for the last 1.5 years since I moved to Corinth. I chose this office because it was close to home and in my dental plan. I have never had an appointment kept by the hygenist that did not have to be rescheduled. The latest was my rescheduled appt (at the hygenist request) for 01/04/10 was cancelled. The office called my husband (they had my phone number but still they called my husband) and left a message on his voicemail that my appt was going to be cancelled because the hygenist has decided to take off of work on that day. This happens all of the time. When you finally get in for your cleaning, the hygenist will try and yell at you for not keeping a regular 6 month schedule. The last time she tried to do this, I told her I was not on time because my appt was rescheduled by the dental office. She tried to blame another hygenist for cancelling but I knew my appt was with her and she was the one that decided not to work that day. The cancellations are always last minute and to get another appointment takes months. Do not go to this office. You will never get your teeth cleaned. Cons: appoints are few and cancelled frequently more

I told her I understood her recommendation but would rather get just a regular cleaning. She said they would not do a regular cleaning. Pros: Takes my low cost insurance Cons: Don't feel like I can trust them. more

Horrible Place!!!! 8/8/2009

I've been going to the dentist since I was little and I've never had such a unfriendly experience at a dental office! I have been to this office three times (twice being with my husband) every time the girls at the counter are very rude to customers! I've notice the office manager is always making rude comments to the customers and the front staff. When I finally saw the dentist after I waited about two hours she said about three sentences to me and that was it! I felt like I was an inconvience to her! My husband and I bought a dental plan to get discounts and we will not return to this office...so basically it was so bad we dicided to take our loss and go somewhere friendly!!!! more

Making me rethink my dental insurance plan 5/27/2009

In our first visit, we had researched dentists and set an appointment. When we got there, they changed our dentist and told us the one we wanted wasn't working on that day of the week. They gave us a different dentist that we went along with only to find out that they had diagnosed about $10,000 in dental work (after insurance) that they wanted to start immediately as if everyone had $10k in their pockets. We called back insisting on getting the dentist we wanted. They told us she would have to re-do all of the evaluation work since dentists don't like to rely on other dental evaluations. Turned out, a ""crown"" wasn't needed and only 1 cavity, not 2. Good overall visit, though a little bit pricey after insurance. Called for a basic cleaning only to find out we couldn't get one until we paid another $600+ for ""deep cleanings"" over several visits. When told about a summer vacation that would interrupt the treatments they had no answer other than schedule to do deep cleanings and don't wait. That would mean starting it, then having to restart because of missing time due to vacation. This group seems focused on making the money, not appropriate dental care or customer service. That is only based on a short term experience, but we are changing out dentist, even if it means going to a more expensive dental plan. Monarch won't be our dental service any time soon. Pros: They take inexpensive insurance Cons: Pricing, Sales Focused, bait and switch more

Overpriced with TERRIBLE Customer Service 12/16/2008

I had an achy tooth and needed something scheduled right away, but had to reschedule appointments with them 3 times because the receptionist couldn't seem to write the correct time for my appointments on my appointment card. Once I FINALLY saw a dentist, I told her how sensitive my tooth was but she didn't listen and wasn't very careful at all during the exam. She told me that I needed to have a root canal immediately, and the price she gave me WITH my insurance was about $400 MORE than what my insurance packet price was. I told them that I was going to look around because I am a college student and couldn't afford that price. They told me that they were going to put my file in storage if I didn't have it done there. I couldn't see any other dentists soon enough that could do it cheaper WITHOUT ANY INSURANCE AT ALL, so I decided to give Monarch another try because I was in such pain. I decided that I was going to just have the tooth pulled. Finally scheduled the appointment (after checking with the receptionist about three times to make sure the time she gave me was correct) and on the day of the appointment, they opened two hours late (after my scheduled appointment time) and didn't even bother to tell me the day before! Once they FINALLY opened, I was informed that after waiting around all this time that the surgeon wouldn't be coming into the office that day. I was in such pain because of my tooth, I asked if my dentist would be able to extract the tooth herself because I had already taken off work and canceled all of my prior obligations for the day in order to get this done. The receptionist asked the dentist right in front of me if she would be able to extract the tooth, and the dentist made this really confused face and said ""... Well, I can TRY to do it, but I'm not sure..."" WHO SAYS THAT IN FRONT OF A CUSTOMER WHO IS ABOUT TO HAVE A TOOTH PULLED??? DO NOT GO TO MONARCH. You will save money and time to go ANYWHERE else. These people are terrible. Pros: Location Cons: Overpriced, Lack of Customer Service, Dishonest Pricing more
