The Hotel Monaco is a fun and colorful place to stay. The service is good, and they are very pet-friendly. The decor was charming, but I would not classify it as a luxury hotel. Some of the rooms are very cramped. I probably would not stay again. more

From the fish in the bowl to Lilly's greeting in the lobby, the Monaco not only has a sense of sytle, it has a sense of fun. If you want to have a good time, its the place to be... Pros: Style, Location, Service Cons: No pool, Not inexpensive more

The Hotel Monaco has the best accommodations that Denver has to offer! It is conveniently located in the heart of the city center, just steps away from fabulous restaurants, near sporting events, entertainment and shopping. Brightly colored, sophisicated luxurious rooms and spectacular amenities, such as Aveda products and Spa. Stayed at the hotel monaco over the 4th of July. Truly a great hotel with fantastic service. The evening happy hour was a great way to wind down the day or get ready to go out. The room extremely comfortable and clean, the service perfect, the staff friendly and knowedgable. I HIGHLY recommend the hotel. The goldfish was a nice touch also. Its a great location to walk to shopping, bars, the rockies, and the sites in downtown. Ended up there from a very cheap rate on Hotwire, so it was a bargain. Pros: location, amenities, wine happy hour more

I was in town for a week on business and absolutely loved the Hotel Monaco. The hotel is warm, comfortable, and beautiful and (though the front desk staff is a bit chilly), the rest of the staff is wonderfully professional, courteous, and friendly. The door staff was especially accomodating and friendly...I loved the super comfortable down beds, turndown service, the beautiful lobby, the altitude adjustment hour (free wine! and a chance to be social), and the bathroom stocked with aveda products...This is a super hotel! Pros: beautiful accomodatio, great location, terrific staff Cons: no street parking more

My birthday present was to come to Denver and stay at this hotel. From the very beginning this hotel left me wishing we had selected other accommodations. The greeting out front by the ""valet"" was horrendous - not even a smile or explanation of ANYTHING! I travel often both domestically and internationally and have never encountered such ridiculously rude behavior by the front desk staff! I was shocked. I stayed for two nights and the service NEVER improved. No friendly advise for hot spots or restaurants! And the rooms were small and gaudy. The only bright spot was a bellman who was extremely helpful and pleasant! NEVER AGAIN! Cons: Terrible parking, awful service, overpriced more

I travel for business and I have never been diappointed by a Kimpten property. If I'm at the Monaco in Salt Lake or in Denver I always know that I will have a plesent stay. I'm not sure were they get their beds but they are the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in! The service is five star as well as their staff. more
