Mom's Wholesale Florist

I just ordered flowers for my step daughter for Mother's Day. They were delivered a day later than promised (but not the biggest deal). My daughter laughed because the delivery person told her they were from me when he handed them to her (even though they were from my husband and myself). She told him ""I guess I don't have to open the card"". Again...not the biggest deal (although annoying). The next morning my step daughter texted me a couple pictures of the dead flowers and a message stating I should call the florist and get my money back. They had completely wilted and died overnight. I called the florist who asked me to have her bring them in. I stated I would not ask her to do that (I had paid for delivery - they could pick the dead flowers up - although I did email them the pictures). I asked to speak to the manager who called me hours later. She was rude and only offered to bring her new flowers 3 DAYS LATER! I told her that was not good enough and at this point I just wanted a refund. She accused me of yelling (which I was not - but yes..I was and still am angry). She hung up on me. I called back and asked for the owner. She stated she would be in the next day. I asked her to have her call me and she hung up on me again. I called the following day (today) and spoke to a nice girl Shannon. She spoke to the owner and called me back to offer me a $100 gift certificate (I paid almost $70 for original flowers). I told her that was not acceptable, I just wanted a refund...that's it. No more flowers. I asked her to have the owner call me and have heard nothing. I cannot believe a company would risk bad reviews, BBB filings, etc over a $70 transaction that they screwed up. more

A big thank you goes out to the florist that created the beautiful flower arrangement we sent to honor a beloved friend and teacher at her funeral. It made a very sad day a very special day for her family. Thanks again!! more

Well let me just start by saying Mom""s Wholesale Florist will always be the florist I go to for any flower arrangements that I need, I used their services for my wedding, and i've also referred them to many of my family and friends all because they deliver the best. Don't underestimate this florist shop they work hard on giving you what you want and pay for and always add a lil extra just for comfort. Fresh flowers, a comfortable enviroment, outstanding employees, I mean what more would you want when it comes to your big event or just simple arrangements. I love how creative and funky the owner gets when designing her work you can see she really wants the best for her customers and I doubt that I will ever use another florist for anything in the future. Mom's Wholesale Florist is where you need to direct your attention to whether its for your wedding, a funeral at home everyday arrangements, proms, just because etc. you name it and I gurantee you wont be dissatisfied. more

had my first consultation yesterday, the flowers on display were beautiful .. and there prices were perfect for my budget , the owner is so sweet and definitely spunky :) very excited by the time i left and so far very happy with my florist choice !!! more

Let me just start off by saying Moms Wholesale Florist is a 5 star business in my eyes. I never felt so pleased and comfortable with the service that was given to me. First off they have a wide range of amazing flowers that are so beautiful and fresh. Second off their staff is all around the best and they make some pretty awesome flower arrangements. I would most definitley recommend them to all you brides out there looking for a florist to meet your needs because they give you the best of what you want with no imperfections:) more

just got back from my honeymoon in hawiiii. yeah. i had the sweetest message from my florist that did our wedding flowers the day after thanksgiving. on my machine it said. we really enjoyed doing your wedding tracey. hope your having a great time on your honeymoon. i thought wow. they are so nice. my flowers were so pretty .they are the nicest people and they made a stressfull time really fun. coffee, cake, helped me through everything. i just wanted to thank you guys online not just on the phone. i was refered to this florist by my friend. they were very nice helpfull. the owner helped me pick my wedding flowers out. i was so impressed wtih her ideas. they delivered when they said they would. set it all up . it was absolute beautifull...........i did no pay a arm and a leg. very fresh. this was my second wedding and my flowers from the other florist was horrible. i will recomend you give them a try more

I recently had my wedding done here last month and absolutely love this place. I got exactly what I had wanted and at a very cheap price. And on my special day had so many compliments on the flowers. I would highly recommend this place to go get your wedding flowers they are the best!! more

My experience with Mom's was terrific! I flew into the area for my father's funeral. The lady that helped me was wonderful, extremely helpful, showing the different flowers that could be used, and made some helpful suggestions. The red, white and blue heart shaped wreath was more beautiful than expected! They really had just one day advance order, and it was delivered to the chapel on time. Thank you! Never Ever go to these people. My wedding was on May 29, 2011, and these people charged me $200 for each alter they sold me, and $150 dollars for my bridal bouquet. The alter did not have a single rose, eventhough I paid for 40 on each alter, and it was mostly green and cheap pink flower, for my bouquet I paid for 30 roses I only got 16. They charge so so much, and they do a crapy job, they were 1 hour late on the delivery, The owner Kristin is so rude and imploite. The day after wedding I called her to explain to her about what happened to my stuff, and she told me F*** you, and F*** your family, very very disapointing, my husband and I spend $1800 on the flower at their store, and that how we got treated. I will never forgive her for what she did to us. more

I live in New Orleans, my better half is working in your beautiful, freindly city. I wanted to send her some roses. I looked on internent and found MOMS. They were so helpful , sight unseen they sent one of the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen to her. If you need a florist I highly reccomend them. They will get the job done. I want to thank all the employes at Moms florist. We had the oppurtunity to talk with many of them as they did my daughters wedding. Her flowers were beautiful, just as we had ordered, and we weren't sure what kind of flowers fit in our budget, they helped pick the flowers and they were perfect. i am very thankfull for finding this business. i went to five florist and knowbody would help me. all the flowers were about 500-1000.00 $ more then i had to spend., i read the reviews and i sat with christina the owner. very wonderfull christian woman. cares nothing for herself. i dont understand the other reviews . i did not experience any of that. my flowers were wonderfull. they were very fresh and what we ordered. if you r looking for a good christian shop this is the shop. and they will help you all the way through.. god bless you more

We have used Mom's for many family occaions and have yet to be let down. I have used them for our private wedding Ceremony and our big family reception a few months later, a couple of funerals(unfortunately) a 40th wedding anniversay party, several proms and a few other times for flowers for my wife. I reccommend them to all of my friends. more

As a Bride to be on a very limited budget, who is trying to do all the flowers on my own, with not a lick of natural talent for arranging, I was so excited to find this place. This is a family run business and everyone was extremely helpful. My appointment was with Christina. I really had a lot of anxiety and stress, and was completely indecisive on what I wanted. Christina was very patient and helped me with focusing and picking the flowers that would work best for my whole wedding party and cake by listening and showing me examples (pictures) of what certain flowers would look like together. Although their shop was super busy, she never once made me feel rushed and took her time with me. Christina did an amazing job at listening to what I was saying and went out of her way to get me the lowest price. In the end I was able to get my flowers for a fraction of the cost AND this is the only shop I have ran across that is willing to teach you how to make your own Bouquets, Boutonnieres, and Corsages FREE OF CHARGE. I left there feeling completely confident that we will be able to pull this off. I cannot say enough great things about this place and my experience. Anyone who is trying to save money and not break the bank on their wedding should stop by here. Although my wedding is going to be small (50 people) my flowers only cost $145 whereas other florists were charging a minimum of $350 for the very same thing. The folks here are very down to earth, not stuffy or pretentious in any way. Pretty amazing and I would recommend them to anyone at anytime. more

I should have went with my gut feeling when I went to Mom's Flowers. The worker's there were pushy and rude. I shouldn't have went with my gut and left before putting down payment. The worker's are rude and try to make you feel in superior. After booking them for my wedding (Which consisted of an outdoor reception, no flowers needed for the ceremony, just 3 bouquets, 8 boutonnieres, and lilies for 10 tables and cost $800!) I heard from a woman at work that she used Mom's flowers and half of them were dead the day of her wedding. I read reviews online and got the same feedback so I went back to Mom's flowers with my concern. This time they were nice as could be. The insured me that my flowers would be just fine. The day of my wedding came, and yes the flowers were alive and the centerpieces looked great, but the boutonnieres and bouquets were NOT what I had been promised. I could not believe how skimpy they were for the price I paid. I really felt ripped off. Two months later a friend of mine got married. She like the design on my bouquet (different from my skimpy bridesmaid ones, but still not the four feet they promised... more like 1 foot.....) so she got just her bouquet from Mom's. Well, she should have voiced concern like I did, because when she picked up her bouquet, half of the roses were dead. She had to pick them out and replace them with flowers she bought separately. I honestly believe that if I had not gone in and voiced my concern about getting dead flowers, I would have gotten dead flowers. I really would discourage anyone from getting wedding flowers done here. If you do not want to stress over having dead wedding flowers, please choose a different florist. And in response to the post by JAYDEE.... I don't agree that the negative posts regarding Mom's are all by Bridezillas..... I was far from being a 'princess bride'. Seriously.. how many bridges choose to have a $3k wedding? Yep, no bridezilla here, just a bride who got gipped on flowers. I guess JAYDEE doesn't realize how lucky she got. I really believe she is one in few that were happy with their experience at Mom's. more
